Comment:
Prof. Stanley is very specific about what she wants from her students. If she wants to see something in your papers/presentations, you better put it there or else keep dreaming about getting an A. She's a very hard grader that she doesn't even round up your grade to what expecting. Let's say you get 92.9 that is an A- instead of 93, which is an A.

She's great and really passionate about what she's teaching but if you are looking for some easy classes to take, her class is definitely NOT the one. A lot of readings, quizzes and small/group assignments, it takes a lot of your time.

great prof. she knows so much about her subject and you can tell she just loves it so much. her passion for it helps with the somewhat boring lecture days. but the readings are super interesting and you learn a lot. work is easy but a lot of reading. study for tests and youll get an a. will take more classes from her. she works WITH the class.

She is very enthusiastic for what she is teaching. I was sceptical of the class before it started, but it turned out to be one of my favorites, which had a lot to do with the professor.

What a wonderful person she is. Her class will challenge you, but her personality and enthusiasm for the subject can persuade even the most skeptical to learn that IPA!
