Mrs. Haddock is absolutely wonderful. If you pay attention and attend class you should have no problem passing the tests. You MUST study. Tests are online and timed. If you are really wanting to learn music in depth this is the teacher who will show you the way. If you don't want to work, then don't take her class. She's worth the work. Loved her!

Mrs. Haddock is an incredible Professor. You must attend class. Read the chapter. Take notes. Her quizzes are based on class work. Missing class will put you far behind. Grades are earned and worked for. She's great with communication. Email her. She's reasonable. I adored her personality. I plan on taking more music classes because of her.

Although I had music experience, learning from this professor was difficult. If you want to pass the class, it's best if you have music experience. This professor had great ideas and strategies to teach music, but the way she teaches is confusing. It is like learning a new language or math. I would not recommend her.

She was very nice. Has a lot of long stories to tell that eventually lead to a point she is trying to make. She does seem to ramble on a bit, which might bore you. I kind of got bored and lazy in the class, so my C grade was my own fault. Moodlerooms! She used it for tests and some homework, which I hated! Avoid procrastinating. Its your enemy.

She is one of the most difficult teacher I have ever had! When signing up for her class make sure you have music knowledge because she expects you to know EVERYTHING ALREADY! If you are barely understanding music and want to learn do not add her class....she will not teach you anything! She will just tell you go read the book.

She doesn't really teach anything. She points at stuff and tells her students to figure it out and do it. She's not sure about a lot the material. Students must learn everything on their own because she doesn't teach anything. The upside is that she's up to date with technology and she loves it.

I have no music background but i did great in her class. As long as you never miss class, do the homework, and study for the tests, you'll do amazing. I got the highest grade on the tests many times and i really didnt even try that hard. JUST PAY ATTENTION! She grew up in Africa so she has way cool stories. You'll like her.

Very nice lady. Good teacher. I have no music background , but now I feel like I've learned some music. She has interesting teaching methods. She tells cute stories. She loves students. Yes, the tests are hard. You need to study and practice a lot. Be in the class. Don't leave without having your questions answered. Work hard. You can get an A.

she makes the material easy to understand and simplifies it so that it's not so complicated like the book. I think she should write her own textbook haha. If you do the hw, go to class, and pay attention, then you'll get a good grade in the class.

Favorites? Pleeaase! She just asks ppl who get higher scores to help those who don't, what's wrong with that? I actually found her very fair and helpful. Hard to find teachers who are really passionate about what they teach. She also had wonderful little stories and such. But for those who have no musical experience, it might get tough. Gotta Study

As someone who has lots of music experience, Mrs. Haddock is one of the teachers who make the subject matter REALLY easy to understand. She DOES favor people, which is really distracting and annoying, but she really helps with getting you to understand the material.
