Very approachable and a great guy. Knows a lot about the subject, and is great one on one. The three hour lectures about random philosophy of history made me want to kill myself though.

Borges is a great teacher. He's from Argentina, and he brings a particular South-American perspective to his classes, which are mostly about Latin America. He plays favorites to a degree, but he's approachable, easy to talk to, and eager to help students.
