If you need or want to take Spanish 101, I highly recommend a different professor. She expects you to pick up everything with a snap of your fingers. If she sees you struggling on part of the material she's most likely just to tell you that you don't study. She is also very rude in the classroom.

She was a nice woman outside of class but is defiantly not a good teacher. She's rude when you need additional help and will stare blankly at you if you cannot translate a sentence. Also the Oral presentations are not in class, you have to go to a Spanish lad to present. Good luck making it to the lab during the hours of operation.

She might be one of the worst teachers I have had in awhile. She is a very nice women outside of class but when teaching she is very unclear about assignments and completely impatient and rude with students who need a little more explanation. I would not recommend taking her class as it is more stressful than it should be.

While Professor Anderson is a great person outside of class, she is very strict. More than hall the class failed most of her tests. When explaining the material she isn't very clear and gives an attitude when people are wrong when participating in class and when they ask a lot of questions.

Professor Anderson is a sweet lady, and she wants you to do well, however she is really tough in her assignments. It can be overwhelming. Participation is a must n this class she expects you to do the examples in the book as well as the examples on the provided pages of the syllabus prior to coming to class. She is demeaning in the workload.

1st Spanish teacher I've ever had that examined the difference between "bien" and "Bueno", Her tests are easy (I got all B's with barely studying but I've taken Spanish since middle school) and there is no homework besides orals (3), short essays (3) and audio exercises (due on test days). Grammar/accent stickler. BUY THE BOOK! YOU WILL NEED IT!

Best teacher ever. She let me come to her office to help tutor me before tests if I asked for help. She is demanding, but she actually makes you learn the language. Assignments are easy and she always has workbook review the day before the tests.

This teacher has little concern for how we learned the topics. She moves on with out checking to see if we understood the topics and was hostile to us when we said that we were having trouble with it. She missed 2 weeks of class and did not amend her syllabus to reflect her own absences. Instead she said that we should have done it ourselves.

Prof Anderson is a sweet lady however she is very stern and strict. She sticks to the syllabus so it is your job to keep up with assignments. Her instructions are not always clear and frequently she mixes up pages but common sense will get you where you need to go. I do not recommend this class for first time students but she can be very sweet

Prof Anderson can be difficult to deal with as a native Spanish speaker. I felt like she talked down to her students, and had little to no interest in us as people- she acted like this was the only class we were taking. Her class requires a great deal of patience. I recommend Professor D. Clark for Spanish instead.

One of the worst, if not THE worst, Spanish teachers I've ever had. Her directions are never clear, she's very particular about pronunciation and accent marks, and she tends to change her mind a lot about directions and her "favorites". If you get her as a teacher, i recommended to switch out ASAP.

She is such a sweet lady. the syllabus is structured and easy to follow as a checklist. the work is easy and short but there are assignments due weekly. She is very helpful and if she can tell you are working hard and trying she will pass you. attendance is strict so beware if you tend to be tardy.

Worst class ever. She does not teach you anything. Take it on line and read the book yourself at home...that's how she works anyway. You might as well saty home in your pajamas and save the trip to class. Attendance is very strict and so is grading. FYI...funerals are NOT an excused absence.

She can teach, she's just unoriginal. Her lesson plan consists of all the book exercises and workbook stuff. Sometimes we go to the board, other times we pair up. Other than that, no variation from what the book and workbook. She is strict and demanding of your time (like she's the only class you're taking). Not recomended.

Very strict grading, no grace period if you aren't able to turn something in on time. I'm doing well in the class, but it seems like a lot of people are struggling. If you're just 1 min late coming to class or coming back from break, she'll mark you absent. She's very strict and yells at students for no reason sometimes.

She is a good teacher and she knows her Spanish and you will definitely learn it IF you pay attention but she grades really hard and sometimes treats students like high schoolers. Also the class can become very stressful and pressure is put on you in class to preform making it a little nerve racking.
