Comment:

Forget about asking questions, she will treat you like the stupidest person she's ever met. If you forget to staple a paper to your corrections, she will take 5 points off even though she never said she needed anything stapled. She is extremely fast paced and gives 70ish assignments a week, its insane.

Honestly no longer want to keep my Spanish major. She is unnecessarily difficult. When the class wrote a paper, she contradicted everything we've been taught on how to write. Goes on extreme tangents that don't relate to class at all. Gave a midterm that covered things not covered in class & only had a sentence about them in the book.

Good luck. Changes the syllabus, ridiculous amounts of work, her teaching style did not help. You also had no idea what to study cause she would teach one thing in class but test you on something else.

Dr. Delgado is a very nice woman. She is extremely passionate about the Spanish language and it definitely shows. Personally, I have not had the best experience with her, though. She gives about 30-60 assignments weekly for her Spanish 110 course. Not ideal for a general education requirement when Spanish isn't your major or minor.

This teacher, although passionate about her field, could care less about the wellbeing of her students. She does not follow the syllabus well enough and can be highly incoherent. You need a lot of patience sometimes with this woman.

This woman is very passionate about her field. She will go VERY deep with the language. Very admirable person who lives a simple lifestyle. Sometimes is inconsistent with the syllabus. A little older, and it can be obvious through her occasional forgetfulness. She will only help if you ask for it. Be smart and dedicated and she will like you.

Spanish best be your world. She loves to give lots of work and just because attendance isn't mandatory, I wouldn't dare miss class. She's great and very helpful, but any class with her takes a lot of work. She expects excellence!

PASSIONATE! She is full of life, especially when it comes to Spanish. She wants all to comprehend the subject well, and will help. Her classes can be very difficult, especially for any newbies. She teaches very well, but at times does assign mucho tareas. I recommend taking her for a good education!

Delgado is an amazing teacher if you do what you're supposed to do from day one. It's obvious that she loves her job, her students and the language, but you really have to work to do well. She will expect a lot from you, but she is always there to help you.

I had Aced spanish all 4 years in H.S. But in this class the pace is very quick and if you don't catch on right away you're left behind. Personally, I haven't seen where she is overly helpful. She isn't very tech-savvy, so emailing is not the best way the best way to contact her. I was gonna minor in Spanish, that's not happening anymore

Excellent teacher! Helped me solidify the basics that I had learned about grammatical spanish. Very clear and organized in her teaching and assignments. She generates creativity and immense respect in her students. Prepared me to be more comfortable speaking in spanish dialogue conversations!

Excellent teacher! She does a great job communicating information with her students and making them eager about the subject matter. She has personally motivated me to add a Spanish major. very helpful, supportive, and comapssionate. She is also open to a lot fo interpretations and encourages her students to be creative and think!

Dr. Delgado is a good teacher. She cares about he work and is very enthusiastic about what she is teaching. She can be difficult but that is not a bad thing, it only helps you to understand the language better. She is one of the few professors that I have ever had who seems to genuinely care about what she is teaching.

This woman is amazing! The most inspiring and challenging teachers in my college career. She makes you think and you will be a changed person if you really do all the work with half the heart she puts into teaching the subject. She is awesome. She is tough.
