Very hard grader!! Easy quizzes, but the questions were very general. If you don't write exactly what he wants, then he takes off points. 2 papers, a midterm, final and some quizzes. A few homework assignments to pass in

Comment:

Bridger and his class made me question my interest in math... 6 or so graded hmwk assignments, 2 quizzes, and a take-home final. The book(which he wrote) and most of his notes are incomplete. He's rarely prepared for class and throws def's and thm's at you, with few applications. Go to class, and be thorough on your hmwk, he is very picky!

Bridger really is a good guy; he knows his stuff. He is abrupt, no doubt, but his intentions are good and he is very sincere. He does a good job with this class, even if it is not the "Real Analysis" that all other math majors know. He gives you many opportunities to get things right. He is helpful, too. Good class.

Bridger is a great professor and lecturer. He has a lot of experience and knows exactly where students have trouble, since he has taught the class so many times before. He really tries not to let anyone fall behind. This semester he was the course coordinator, so he covered all the material for the final unlike other professors. Use TRACE on myNEU!

Very entertaining teacher who clearly loves what he's teaching. Makes all the difference when the teacher can teach a class he's passionate about. Always willing to help out and will essentially give you everything you need in his office hours right before a quiiz!

Even though I already took calc 2 in high school this class really covered anything that I didn't remember. The professor is a good guy and he really wants to help. He gets annoyed if people don't show up to class so its a good idea to go to class.

Bridger was by far the best math professor i have ever had! I didn't really learn much because i had already taken the course in highschool but i went to class anyway just for the pure fact that he is hilarious.

Not the greatest prof. You never know what does he want from you. Everything has to be done in his own way. I had a feeling throughout the course that I was studying Bridger's math, not the math that everyone else knows. Never told us what will our grade based on - we found out it AFTER final, when privately asked in e-mail. BAD

Annoying little guy who wears the same green pants every day. He is in love with math, but not helping his students. Plays favorites and has inconsistent grading. Annoying to put up with although is willing to help students if you can stand him.

What a ridiculous little man. I made one small mistake on a 2 question quiz and got a 45, even though it was obvious I knew my stuff. He wears the same pants everyday. He is funny though. But a jerk, and not helpful at all. I dropped his class even though I'm normally a good student.

Makes lessons easy to understand. Teaches intro to lesson one class, gives a few practice problems, then gives homework, following class he goes over homework. Personality-wise, this guy's a lil wacky. As for his teaching, it's very hard for most students to follow him (unless you're a hardcore math student), because he speaks SO fast at times and he's awfully messy on the board. Math instructors should be very organized, but this guy isn't. Avoid him.

Worst math teacher I have ever had. Rumors have it that calc 3 is easier than calc 2. This does not hold true for Bridger...Maybe if you like to read the calc text book you will do fine but don't expect to learn anything in class.
