She's picky, strict and not clear on the class contents. Unfriendly and inconsiderate.. don't like her at all. You can escape all her classes if you don't care about participation mark. She is extra for a course with a textbook.

Vague guideline on how to study for the exam. Everything in the textbook are testable. Lots of readings. Lectures doesn't really supplement the readings well. No full lecture notes. Slides are not posted.

She's an okay prof who explains her slides and presents videos to better understand topics. Tests are MC and short essays. Her TA is unreasonable and a rough grader.

absolutely disapointed. my grandfather passed away a week before my final exam, I literally begged her to give me time. she refused and on top of that she was blatantly rude about it! I was as gracious as I could be but she wouldn't budge, stay away!!

Fantastic prof. Knows her stuff, and she made an effort to use a range of media in class to keep the dullards awake. The course material was fascinating - something everybody can relate to, since it's all about childhood psychological development. The paper was a bit too easy though - could've been a lot more interesting.

She's a very sweet old lady, but unfortunately that doesn't quite cut it. Lectures are boring and while the course may be called 'Childhood and Adolescence', don't be fooled. it is CHILDHOOD and CHILDHOOD ONLY. Not a terrible prof, but not too interesting.

The course is not that bad, requires a lot of textbook reading though. Her m/c are very easy. Long answers are a little troublesome, but still manageable. I came out of the final knowing i totally bombed the written parts and still got an A.

The course was really interesting and so were her lectures. Vague guidelines for note-taking. Exams are both weighted on lectures and the textbook. She looks for very detailed answers on exams but the paper was fair.

Yeah I don't know what everyone is complaining about, I'm a pretty average student and I managed to get an A- in the course. She was pretty clear about what she wanted in regard to the term paper and the exams, but that's just my opinion.

She is a very interesting and thorough professor. Can get a little boring sometimes, but otherwise keeps the class engaged well with up-to-date material. Marking schemes for exams are a little too specific, so write down as much as possible, hoping to hit on the points she wants you to make.

She's very nice and fun. And she led a good open class discussion (for a 100+ class). The exam and paper are both easy. I recommand this course for people want to take a developmental psyc but not too hard core. I didn't like the other two prof who got rave reviews.

Dr. King was a typical psych professor - the class was large so she relied a bit on her TA for marking, etc. but he wasn't bad. She was funny and didn't mark too hard. The exams were fine and she tried to keep the class interesting with the odd video, etc. All in all not a bad course at all! I'd recommend her.

great class, great prof. i've taken FMST 210 before (basically the same class so 315 was review for me) but Dr. King is sweet and wonderful. Paper is super easy if you have a back ground in social science. Final is easy (she gives you the essay question at the beginning of term). Not a bad way to spend 2 hours on a Monday night.

This course was the WORST course I have ever taken. It was unorganized, bland & uninformative. The prof made no effort to create her own email account and lectures consisted of two or three overhead slides and the odd ancient video. I got an F in this course, my other grades have been nothing lower than one B+ in first year, DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF!!

The paper was too short to fit the summary into (it was a summary of a research study). The midterm was fair, and she didn't try to trick you too much. Classes were kind of boring, but attend them. Not a bad prof, but not fantastic either. I'd give her a meh..she's like lukewarm coffee.
