Comment:

Kishore is the bomb if you work hard and learn from what he says. He expects more out of you than other teachers, and this will push you to become a better student. Then you get to laugh when you turn in your homework and get a 14/10, while everyone else cries with their 6/10.

Even if you get A's or B's in all your math and computer science classes, be prepared to fail any class taught by Dr. Kishore. Hard headed know it all who even if he is wrong, he is right. Corrected by multiple students in class and still told them they were wrong. Verbally abuses us and loves to get in verbal fights with us. Wants us to fail

The worst professor I have ever had at my time at ECU. He is extremely hard to understand not only because of his accent but also because his method of teaching. He teaches by having a word document up in the front of class and he reads off of it. His tests are extremely hard because most of the test is stuff he doesn't focuse on, plus half is t/f.

He is the epitome of what you think of when you hear about old professors who don't answer questions and won't help students. Get 1 true false wrong? Redo the whole test with proofs. Have a question? Too bad he won't answer it. He did something wrong? He says he's right. He calls on you and you answer wrong? He laughs at you.

Kishore is the funniest teacher I've ever taken. That being said, his class is hard to pass but he will try to make sure a majority of students pass with a C. He will try to get you to come to his house to do yard work. He will try to get you to come to his office and pay him to do homework in his presence for an A in the class. (it's $40 a try)

He isn't there to hold your hand. He tells you how much you do not know. A lot of people take offense to his method of teaching because they cannot understand how much they don't know. If you are in the computer field you will at some point have to deal with a strong Asian accent. I never got an A in any of his classes but, he taught me a lot.

His lectures and exams are awful. He constantly forgets to do things like giving OUT EXAMS (a sign that he needs to retire). The only plus is that he curves the grades so that the majority of the class gets around a C. The worse thing is that you can't avoid having him since he's the only available choice when it comes to certain courses. Have fun!

I advice to not to take this class, hardly anyone passes a test in his class so he has to put major curves on it. It may seem good but you learn nothing in this class because his accent is so strong and easily forgets his curriculum. The only way i passed was by teaching myself the subject and the homework grades.

HE IS TERRIBLE AT TEACHING! You can't even teach yourself from the book because he says he is right and it is wrong. I asked him what specifically to study and he said everything...it's pathetic ECU hires people that can't understand English

This guy is the most incomprehensible teacher at ECU in the ComSci department. You can never understand what he's saying and he is harsh at grading. Don't take him if you don't have too. Your grades are not worth the hassle you have to endure just to pass this guy's class. He's only reasonable about passing you, if you're a borderline C/D student.

Dr. Kishore HATES college kids. He mocks the fact that we don't know the subject manner before-hand. He doesn't accept any input from students. He prefaces almost every other sentence with "Shooooly"(trans: Surely). Get him talking about Sumo Wrestling if you want to burn a class or two.

I took this man for 1 class and deemed him my worst experience at ECU period. Besides not being able to understand him, he's just plain RUDE to his students. He tells you 1 thing and then does another. This man should not be teaching.

You need a translater to understand what he's saying. His sense of humor is very strange. He laughs when you do bad and frowns when you do good. Not recommended if you want to learn from the lectures.

The man thinks its so funny when you dont know an answer. His favorite phrase "IT IS OBVIOUS, HA-HA" One day he forgot to come to class and told us next time he did that to call him(Yeah right). Not the best professor in the world, but if you can just try to laugh at/with him it won't be that bad.

Sure he argues a lot and repeats himself constantly, but he's not that bad. Just refer to the book. Do the homework (actually try to work the problems out). He doesn't give credit for just copying from the back of the book. Also he allows a one page (front & back) cheat sheet for tests.
