Comment:

Very dry sense of humor. Very knowledgeable because he was a former mayor of Lansing and taught high school History for several years. Class work was very routine and easy to keep up with. The movie quizzes were the hardest part of the whole class so just don't fall asleep!!

Mr. McKane was once a mayor of Lansing. He is a very routine kind of teacher. Every class he'll pretty much just stand behind his desk and talk away about American history. You'll take routine tests and quizzes and get your routine homework assignments. You'll also earn lots of easy extra credit taking notes watching videos on presidents. A+

Mckane was a very good professer. His class was somewhat boring but after awhile you'll get used to it. Theres tons of extra credit available so its easy to get an A in the class.We would always do a chapter of hw then a lecture, test on the chapter, and then watched a movie and took notes for extra credit. He also lets you use your book on tests.

Everyone he needs to take a government class, needs to take THIS class a.s.a.p. You are given TONS of extra credit daily, and the homework is straight forward. I hate all government classes and I'm getting an A easily in this. Only negative is the class is repetitive. Take LOTS of notes during the movies and you can get tons of extra credit.

Easiest government class i've ever taken, but at the same time I learned alot. NEED the book AND the study guide. Do the homework, the quizes aren't bad. Final exam you can use your notes. Make sure to do all discuss. questions on homework. Really repetitive class, felt like i was in highschool but he was funny and I learned a little about gov also

Such an easy class. You have to not do the homework or show up to receive lower than an A in this class. All you do are watch boring movies instead of lectures and do homework from the book along with open book quizzes. He gives trivia questions for extra credit and gives a ton of extra credit for movie notes. Easy to get 105-110% in this class.

He's a really easy going guy. The only thing I did not like about him is his monotone voice. Other than that he's a pretty funny guy. The class is pretty easy. You get to use notes on all the tests, and you watch a movie every class. BE SURE TO KEEP ALL YOUR HOMEWORK AND NOTES! You can use everything on the exam including the book.

Class was a piece of cake. The hard part was staying motivated to go. I just did the homework during the LONG winded lectures. Watch a video every night, gives you extra credit for notes on EVERY movied (HINT: more notes you take, more points you get). Nice old guy, easy class, and if you do all the work COMPLETELY you can easily get over 100%
