Absolutely great class! Wonderful teacher and cool material. I have no idea what others are saying about hypnosis. I had absolutely no prior knowledge to communications and liked this class. IT WILL HELP YOU BECOME A BETTER SPEAKER!!!

Her teaching style is pretty relaxed. All assignments are layed out at the begining of the year, just stay on track, and you will do fine. Be extremely friendly, make sure she knows your name. Pretty easy A as long as you are not a complete idiot.

I recommend you take COM101 before you take her. The class will be brutally awful if you aren't familiar with speech patterns and hypnosis. Other than that you should be fine. Just don't expect an easy A without breaking your melon.

Simply amazing teacher. She is everyones friend. We had fun and still learned a lot. Strongly recommend her for public communication!!! Dont take anyone else but her!!! Everyone in class knew each other. Great environment for those who are scared of public speaking!

She is Fabulous! Such a great teacher, and very helpful. If you do not like public speaking she will make the atmosphere as manageable as possible. She really cares about the students. I always recommend her to my friends!

Prof McConnaughy is by far the best prof I have ever had. Her class is probably one of the best I have ever taken. She is very funny, up beat and helps you out with any problem you have. I HIGHLY suggest you take as many com, cmn classes you can from her!

Professor McConnaughy is not only one of the best professors i've ever had, she is also one of my favorite people. In addition to being very knowledgable in her field, she is very witty. She made class enjoyable to be in. 9 times out of 10, i would rather have been there, than not, whether or not attendance was required. Her class is a must take!

Seems really nice at first, but is quick to single people out. When you ask a question she is the type who loves to hear herself talk and does NOT answer what you origanlly asked. Her test are tricky because of the wording, even if you understand the material. It would be worth driving to the main campus just to avoid having her as a "professor"!

Prof. Mcconaughy is not a very good prof. She starts the semester by telling us she's experimenting different teaching methods every semester for the past 3 years. She is not clear what is expected from the class and is very UNORGANIZED. She makes everything seem "pretty" even when it's not and her TA's are even worse. Take this class at Tempe!
