Man where do i begin. Funniest guy iv ever had the honor of having as a professor. He actually made me want to choose attending the 8am classes I had with him for summer 2k18, over sleeping in. The grade you get in this class depends on your capabilities as a writer. provides great feedbacks. Would definitely take his classes again if I ever could.

I Honestly loved Mr. Davos way of teaching, his way is really cool and productive. Don't lessen to the losers who want an easy grade and after when things get serious they will definitely struggle. You are taking this class to learn, and if you work enough you will get an A for sure.

If you are a Student at northeastern and plan to take a writing course. I would recommend you to listen to the most recent reviews. Because this professor class is simple but his grading is what makes his class impossible to pass. I recommend yall to do your research before registering.

IMO professor Davros is by far the worst English professor anyone at neiu could register. Sure he is funny and make the class fun but at the end of the day you wont pass his class unless you write in a specific way that satisfies him. If any neiu student is taking him you might want to consider dropping his class if you want your money to be worth

I took mr Davros during the fall and let me tell you he is the toughest grader in Neiu. If you really want to pass English 101 you might want to avoid Davros because, he will not pass you if you dont write good enough for him.

Mr. Davros is by far the worst professor i have taken at NEIU because he spends most of his time reading articles with students, while half the class is doing something else. I don't recommend students to take his class because he is very picky on punctuation, word phrasing, and grammar.

I'm a freshmen here and I really don't like his teaching style. He expects you to know what he wants in an essay without explaining it during class. He loves to tell stories though. He is a VERY tough grader as well.

He's a great professor and really funny in a slightly-sarcastic sort of way. He's a hard-grader but he also takes your ideas into account when reading and grading essays. In his class I felt that even though I had numerous grammatical errors, I received A's on all 4 of the essays because he bases a majority of your grade on what you write.

This guy is a great teacher. If you really want to earn an A schedule time to meet with him outside of class. Sit down with him and he'll go over your essay word by word until you get an understand for what he wants and how to improve it to an A. Just follow the prompts and you'll pass. Makes class fun to come to.

If you're fresh in college, and you know your writing skills are not fantastic, this professor is NOT one I'd recommend for you. I'm an A student when it comes to writing, but was only able to achieve two As out of four papers, so if you decide to take his class, be prepared to do more than well on your essays, read a bunch, and laugh a bunch.

Davros is an OK professor in class, but he's am extremely tough grader. He'll give you a general idea of what he wants for his essays ( there are 4 of them ), and he'd expect you to know exactly what he wants. All the way down to the details of the essay. So if you're a freshmen, or if you're not a good writer, then don't take his class.

Don't recommend for first year students. He tries to make the class open, but fails to realize that he's teaching people who are just starting out in college for the most part. No real class structure or instruction on papers. Interprets the many readings well and tries to discuss it in class. He needs to realize his audience. Freshman, dont take.

Davros is a nice and funny guy, but he only has four essays and he is never clear on exactly what he wants or what he is looking for. When you receive your paper back there is all kind of harsh comments and remarks. He bases your grade on these papers and a midterm and final. The tests are a whole different story. Recommend to not take his class!

Davros is fun in class and makes the class interesting. He only gives you four essays. But he is not clear on what he wants. He actually tells you to do what you want on your essays but then when you turn it in you get harsh comments and low grades and then just expects you to get better with just those few comments. Like him but do not recommend

Davros is funny and engaging, BUT...he expects people to use literary terms extensively in papers, and tells you what NOT to do AFTER you write papers. He's very thorough at picking apart stories, but he's not very clear on what he wants.

During the first class he is going to come off as cool, fun and interesting. After a few classes though you'll soon see him getting visibly upset when you don't take his class very serious. Like the last comment said, he does not teach you how to write better, he just assigns stuff and grades it. Don't challenge him or he gets upset. Never Again...
