I took his Pol Sci 1 class for the Fall 2019 semester. You dont need the book, as he will give you a chapter outline. You will need to take all of the notes because there are quizzes after every chapter. There is 1 midterm and 1 final (open notes). He gives 2 extra credit assignments that as well. Solid Professor.

Comment:

Take notes! It is key to pass this class! Excellent professor, very knowledgable gives amazing lectures. It is a lot of information and he uses the entire class time, he does not waste a minute. I have never liked politics but professor Graham makes this class very interesting and keeps your attention throughout the whole course + No homework.

Copy all the notes i would record him and then fill the notes that i was unable to write. quiz every class about 16-20 questions and he lets you be on a group. midterm and final open notes attendance mandatory. i failed my final and midterm did accurate on my quizzes and overall grade B, but i attended every class and did extra credit. No hmwk

Think about a kind human being? Thats him! If you dont like the subject, hate reading, but somehow can put some work into it then he will make it worthwhile for you. He is an amazing professor, very kind human being, and extraordinary in his lectures. He makes it easy to understand, very understanding, and flexible. Hes one of a kind!

Took Professor Graham's online political science class and I loved it. A discussion and quiz due every 2 days , do your reading and it will be easy. He offered extra credit and it really boosted my grade.

Online class during winter quarter. Very fast. Every two days a topic to be discussed, a 20 question quiz and a chapter of the book to read. I like the subject, but people can feel overwhelming if they don't. His online lectures are very clear and he's a good grader, he always gives good feedback AND EXTRA CREDIT. If you study you can get an A+

This class is pretty straightforward. Read each chapter, take quiz after each chapter, participate in discussion. The book is great! I can honestly say that I enjoyed reading the book. All the answers for the quizzes and test can be easily found in the book or in the outline he provides.

Professor Graham, knows his stuff. He will do open test but for the quizzes u can't use ur notes. There will be essay questions on the test but he also gives extra credit. I was really afraid to take this class because political Science didn't interest me but I'm really glad that I took it with Professor Graham.

Truly an amazing professor. I took his online class over the summer and I started off bad but ended with an A. Do the extra credit, super nice and answers your questions. Quizzes are from the book.

Professor Graham is a great instructor. His lectures are easy to follow. He is funny and he makes learning about Political Science interesting. If you show up for class, take good notes, listen to the lectures and stay off your cell phone you won't have any problem passing the class. You get in what you put in! I highly recommend him.

Fall 2015. Great lectures. I was taking it just for credit but actually got really interested in political science, I learned a lot because he is clear. You don't really need the txtbk as long as you study his notes you'll be fine. He did let us use notes and the TXTBK for the final so you might want it for that. pdf of txtbk is online

Great teacher. Always reviewed before giving out tests and went over the answers afterwards. Discussions were enjoyable and I couldn't ask for a more helpful teacher. Finals were ok not too easy but definitely not that challenging. I recommend you take good notes!

Online class was extremely well organized. Assignments and tests were promptly graded; assignments posted well in advance. While the material was challenging and there was definitely a lot of work required, assessment was clear and objective - it's not a mystery what is required to do well in the class. So far, my best online instructor.

Prepare to take notes,he's straight up and he will let you know what to worry about in exams. Good teacher overall, I missed 8 of out 10 quizzes and got a B by just doing term paper and well on mid-tetm and final. pay attention and you will have a good time learning about politics!

international politics was super fun. We had great times discussing the worlds issues and guessing what will happen next in the world. this man is supper organized. Lectures are easy and you never fall behind because his quizzes keep you up to speed.
