Gotta read the textbook before class. Every class is a discussion based on what you've read, so if you forget to read the textbook then you're being carried by your group. This is her last time teaching SGMA217 so she won't be teaching this course anymore. Her sense of humor is a bit dry but funny at times though.

I like Peggy as a Prof, but this class is a mess! I honestly don't feel like I learned anything in class, that I didn't read in the textbook (which you should read before class). There was hardly any instructions for the group project so we were always left guessing. The course outline is awful, and I found the tests a little weird.

The course itself is pretty harsh if you get put in a bad group and lectures don't prepare you for tests, but Peggy herself was a great prof. She managed to keep lectures entertaining and gave out Kinder eggs during group exercises. This was her last year teaching SGMA 217, so I'm happy I took the course this year.

I had Peggy for SGMA 217 and she was such a gem! She really cares about her students and is willing to help you. Her lectures are very engaging, however, she doesnt really teach to the tests. My one complaint was the fact that we were forced to buy Norms textbook even though a new copy was not needed.

I really liked Peggy. The material was presented in a fun and informative matter using lots of in-class activities that helped you comprehend the finance concepts. Also, gave students opportunities to keep their grade high. Would definitely take a finance class with Peggy again.

I liked Peggy, she made a class with pretty tough content doable. She gave some easy marks out to save the difficulty of the exams. Pretty funny and cared about students doing well but tough class overall.

While Peggy was a fairly good prof the course SGMA 217 is set up in a pretty brutal fashion where if you have a bad "quiz" worth 30% or have a bad group you are going to struggle a lot but that is not quite the fault of her. The lecture does nothing to prepare for the exams so make sure you know the textbook as if you wrote it.

Although I really was not a fan of the course, she did make the class fun and she treated the students with respect. I have no complaints about Peggy. People are criticizing the firmness of grading with the term report, but she did not mark them. Without rambling any further, I would just like to say I would absolutely take another class with her

Peggy is a great professor because she always made class engaging. The two midterms are worth 55% and they're only easy if you put in a solid 15 hours of reading the textbook for each of them. The group report was marked harshly and is the reason I didn't get an A. For the report, try to use Grammarly as it will mitigate the damage to your grade.

She was a fine prof for SGMA217. Made pretty dull content bearable. The course isn't great, the majority of the work was on a group project that was worth the same (minus presentation) as a paper that I wrote in an hour and got an A on. Midterms cover a lot of content and are worth a lot.

Peggy attempted to make the class interesting and applicable which I appreciated. Just with the nature of SGMA (the group projects and difficult midterms), you end up teaching yourself the entire course. I merely attended class for attendance and friends. TEXTBOOK NEEDED as you will be teaching all the content to yourself.

Peggy is actually very nice and respectful to her students. If u get a bad group for the big project, the work load of the class will be heavier. just memorize the key terms/ definit'ns of the textbook as that is all u need to succeed on the 2 midterms. In class activites are useless & they know it but one time they gave ppl who showed up a 1%bonus

Good prof, ridiculous class. Lectures with Peggy were engaging, but the course itself makes no sense. The grading scale doesn't reflect the work done throughout the semester. A one page paper that could be done in an hour was worth the same as a 10 page group report. Hopefully they change the course outline but i would recommend Peggy

Peggy is great. She's funny and actually enjoys talking to the students. I think the course itself is really quite ridiculous. The marking scale for a first year business course just doesn't make sense and the group project is graded so ridiculously hard. If you're gonna take it with anyone, Peggy's probably a good choice.

Peggy is a solid instructor. She's very easy going and keeps the class light and relaxed. The professors influence in this class is minimal though, your grade pretty much depends solely on your group project and the two quizzes. Put some time in and work hard and an A is doable in this class.

Doesn't cover anything that will help you on the quizzes the lectures are basically useless. All you do are dumb exercises like building a imaginary product with lego, not really sure how that helps me on the quizzes, which are worth 25% and 30% btw so study hard.
