Very caring and helpful. His accent was a little difficult for me to understand at first, but I got used to it quickly. He will take the time to speak to you individually to make sure you're understanding the coursework and whatnot. Always around to help and is also very funny and his class was never boring.

Prof. Lamas is amazing! Really helps you learn Spanish, but also is lenient and caring. You'll adore his class, and I would highly recommend. Extremely happy I had him for exit-level Spanish.

Comment:

Professor Lamas is one of the best professors I've had at Fordham. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He encourages discussion of difficult topics and gives excellent feedback on graded assignments. Participation is vital. Written assignments are harder, but can always be revised. I'd highly recommend Professor Lamas.

One of favorite, most memorable professors over past 4 years. Incredible how much knowledge incorporated into Spanish Theatre course; Philosophy to Psychology to Post Modernism. Removes all pressure from classroom, relaxed atmosphere. Very intellectual, but fun. Readings can be difficult, requires acting presentations in class. Take his class!
