Come on! It's "ELEMENTARY" statistics, not advanced one. I tried very hard on this class, and followed his instruction, but I got a "B" It does not worth it. My friend took other professor's class, and he got a "A" He doesn't have as much as assignment as I do. Anyway, the good thing is I pass it.

Overall-class is hard but he is kinda fair-offers 2 make-up tests to substitute 2 lowest exam grades-i suggest you read the book on your own and learn on your own--that's how im making it--he gives practices tests which some of those problems are on the real exam itself--it's cake--just study!!!

Statistic 50 is a medium hard section for everyone who have business and social science major.Professor Allen tries to help everyone,and gives very clear lecture. Tests are based on lecture, notes and the homework. You just put effort to study on it, you will get at least a B, I get A in Spring semester. Good Luck for everyone! Take it! Recommend!

AVOID!!! I've never had a worse teacher. Everyone went into his final with high A's and high B's and most of the class failed his final and therefore his class. Needs to restructure how his points are distributed, a 40% cumulative final that weights heavily material "taught" a week ago is unfair and against campus polcy. AVOID!!!

He's easy but I would still suggest taking this class with someone else. I was the one asking for practice tests in an earlier post, nevermind that this class was incredibly easy up until the final. That final will eat you and your family alive! Be warned.

Professor Allen is not competent enough to teach this class. He seems hell bent on making it impossible to pass his class. He has no sympathy towards his students. Aren't teachers suppose to help their students succeed???? He need to be fired.

Dr. Allen is a very good teacher. Stat 50 is a class with the most repeat rate. It is a very hard class. This is my second time taking Stat 50. I took it before with Dr. G. Dr. A. is by far, a better teacher than Dr. G. With Dr. A., all you have to do is ask questions and he will tell you. If you do not ask questions, you will have problems.

I got rid of everything he "taught" in the class. I decided to start fresh when I TOOK THE CLASS OVER AGAIN!! He wasted my semester and is only taking up valuable class space on campus. Beware!!!

This teacher is too hard, his practice test does not help. He will fail you even if you do all your homework and participate in class. He is not fair, don't take this class unless you are very good in math.

Skips way too much info. You need a solid foundation in order to learn & he doesnt provide that. Practice tests dont help because the test are never like them. He will kill you come Final Exam time. That exam is too hard.
