Class very unorganized: class was canceled on the first day. Learned more from reading the book than I did from attending class. Decent comments on assignments. Approachable and willing to help. Not the best English class I've taken at SSU.

I thought this class was great. Prof. Flynn is approachable and goes out of her way to help you with writing assignments. Few professors are as nice and she makes you think.

This class was easy, but it was probably one of my least favorite English classes I've taken so far at SSU. She uses a very vague grading system (no numbers or letters, just checks) so it is hard to figure out how you are doing in the semester. Wouldn't count this as an English class

Such a great professor. she is very straight forward about what she expects from you. She has a great personality. She is very understanding. Go to every single class, so you do not miss anything. if you do the work, you will get an A.

I will get it out of the way that like all these other reviews say she is certainly a pleasant woman. That said, this woman has absolutely no business teaching Professional Writing. Her level of knowledge on technology and general grammarstructure are laughable at best. She's kind. It's easy. She's frustratingly unaware.

Excellent professor. She treats you like an adult. She expects you to do the projects. She encourages you but she never bullies you. Excellent learning experience.
