He is a very knowledgeable and approachable professor, however the material is too advanced to really be taught and understood at the second year university level. Mediocre class, make sure to understand every in class example and homework problem as those comprise almost all the tested questions in the class.

Gordon is very knowledgable and passionate in his field but his lectures can be very confusing some times. It is quite often that equations derived have algebra mistakes and mismatch with textbook.(btw the text book is old and TERRIBLE). The midterm questions usually leave me attaching my head to wonder if I practiced the right porblems.

Good Prof. Helpfull. Designed the course really well. Really tried his level best to pass everyone. Gave a lot of free marks and scaled the exams bigtime.Encourages students to come to his offie hours. He even gave 1% free to those who came.

Complex material but an AWESOME professor. Professor Gordon is like my hero. Really helpful in his office hours and truly wants his students to do well. Fair exams and easy marks when it comes to homework. One of the best profs I've had so far (and a really smart guy).

Reuven wants you to do well. 10% of the course mark is homework - but you just have to put your name on it and all of the midterms were scaled. That said, it is often hard to bend your head around the concepts of this course and the textbook REALLY sucks.

Great teacher, hard course. He's gotten better than the first years he taught, but now they've gone and stuck him in Elec 320. Still, if you can get him for 220, do. You get 10% bonus for writing your name on paper!

ELEC 220 course is a HARD course. There isn't a text book specifically designed for this course. You have to use one that is more advanced and challenging. To do well in this course you HAVE to go to the lectures and tutorials. All midterm, exam questions are closely related to lecture and tutorial examples. Hark material, but easy to get good mark

MIT Textbook used wasn't bad and made lectures easier to understand; you need to do some work though. Helpful in office hours. Final exam was tough -- only knew 3 of the 5 questions well, others I just made an educated guess.

Dr. Gordon will make a good professor. He made an effort to improve and was very fair in grading. The course material is moderately difficult and the course text assumes a higher level than 2nd year. I enjoyed the course and recomend it to others.

A lot of people are going to bash this guy, until they see their grades. One word: SCALING. People who should have gotten D's got B's. Not too shabby. Dr. Gordon is really smart and, with a few years of practice, he'll be a good professor.
