I'll be objective: lectures SO hard to follow. Her TA jackie grades everything - LOOK OUT. I'm a JOUR major and got 38 and 37 out 50 on papers. The 2 Tests are terms: 8 end up on test u pick 4. Also 2 essays on test: u pick 1. but u have all on study guide. drop letter grade if u miss more than 3classes so just fight thru it. I took it pass/fail.

IF you take notes by going off the the teachers outline or always had a prof. sticking to the subject pertaining to the class, do not take this class. Prof. Napier tends to rant and go off track making it very difficult to take notes. She is a very nice person and all, but isn't very clear in her lecture and it is very hard to stay focus

Rita is a very nice person but a horrible professor. she speaks very monitone, always gets off track in lectures and expects you to learn the material from reading very complex text that she never explains. so if you dont like reading really boring material i would recomend you avoid this class.

Rita is awesome! She gets a little scattered in lecture but I think it's because she has so much she wants to share with us. She has a good sense of humor and cares more about what we've learned not necessarily how much we've learned. Rita knows her stuff and brings good guest lecturers into class. Exams seem hard but really aren't.

She is so smart, personable, and helpful. She knows her subject matter and will never give you the run around. Great prof!
