Comment:

Honestly, just such an amazing professor. I took trig with him, but he also teaches calc, which I hope to take with him also. He explains material thoroughly, and gives plenty of opportunity to ask questions. He has in class work that is really easy and worth 10%, so don't skip! There were also a few extra credit opportunities.

Comment:

Amazing professor. So lucky that I got a chance to have him as my professor. He changed my views and made me love math. He will slow down if he sees the students are struggling. Compares the material to the real life situations. Trig lab was a lot of fun. He is available before and after every class if you need any help.

Prof Chaney is a great teacher that really cares. He slows down the speed of the class so nobody falls behind. He is available before class to for extra help. He has great stories that are relevant to material. He knows the material and loves math and both are obvious. He gives everyone chances to get a decent grade. Labs are revelant and fun.

Professor Chaney is amazing. He will work with you as much as he can in order for you to understand the material and get a good grade. I took the class online and he helped me through the course tremendously. He was easy to access for questions and gave great feedback. If you have the opportunity to take him, do it. He's the best!

Comment:

He is one of the best math teachers I have every had. He would try to do activities to tie what we learn to real life and even give real life examples at his previous careers. He is also very fair when looking at final grades looking to see if you improved. You also become an excel machine after the class. Take him if you have a chance!

He seems chill when you meet him, but he is crazy when he teaches. Everything he writes is disorganized and you loose track of where you are in 5 seconds. He knows his stuff but cannot teach. If you are a math genius, great class for you. If you stink at math, do not take him. Test heavy and does stupid labs that are not related to business at all.

Prof Chaney did an amazing class i had to take the same class 3 times just to pass because i couldn't understand the material and he is the only one that got me to really understand! He wis willing to work with you if you speak up and explain. He cares about our grades and gives every opertunity to get extra credit! Amazing professor by far my fav!

He is the best professor I have had at Sinclair in my two years! I am decent at math and I had to study quite a bit for his class (obviously) but he helped however he could. He had little projects, 3 tests and a final project meaning no cumulative- so if that doesn't scream "hes the best", I don't know what will! TAKE HIM IF YOU GET THE CHANCE!!

Professor Chaney really wants his students to do well and really understand the material, and he does an excellent job at making that happen. I would definitely take him again. His response time to emails is usually within 24 hours. His online help sessions and videos are the best!

Mr. Chaney rocks! I have never had such an easy time in a math class! Lots of trouble with the math program; he is willing to extend due dates until it's fixed. Wants students to succeed, hosts help sessions, responds quickly, gives extra credit, and even meets outside of class and calls! Explains things in different ways until you understand.

He is the hardest math teacher I have ever had. He explains topics well but his tests are hard. It is not enough just knowing the review sheet. I would take a different math teacher than Professor Chaney.

Comment:

Chaney is an excellent professor that cares about his students. He spends countless hours writing out detailed explanations on every turn in homework assignment, and he always is pushing the department to allow a more comprehensive formula sheet for tests. His tests are reasonable, and he grades fairly. I definitely recommend him to future students

Robert Chaney is an excellent teacher with a genuine desire to help his students. I had him for Statistics part 1 and 2, both online. He usually responds within 24 hours to any discussion posts or emails. He even creates interactive help sessions before the exams for us online students where he works out problems step by step. 10/10 Recommend!!

I have taken this professor multiple times for different classes, however, I've never had such a hard time with him before. No help at all with content when confused. Does not grade for months at a time, will not call you back or answer his phone, and ignores email. Can't set up appointments, and all teaching is done on a required bought program.

Online class, Excellent teacher Fast responses to questions, grades fair, provides study sessions before tests. Gives extra credit. The material is difficult and you cannot pass without studying. I would absolutely recommend Chaney and would take another class from him if I needed any other math credits.

Great class. I will always take classes with him over any other professor. Always helpful and more than willing to make sure you understand the material. Have a question? Comment:

Explains concepts clearly and is really organized. Requires students to actually learn math rather than just memorize a form or process. Tests are challenging, but he does many relevant examples in class. Goes the extra mile by posting notes online. Amazing person to talk to one on one. Really loves his students, and wants them to do well.
