Comment:
Favorite prof so far. Masse is full of energy and very passionate about psych. He often goes off on tangents during lectures, but they are funny or important for real life. If you read the book, the tests are easy bc they are all multiple choice. 4 tests make up 60% of the grade and the final is 20% though, so read the chapter the night before.

Professor Masse is a great guy and he cares about his students. He talks about his personal life most classes and every class is a lecture style. You need to take advantage of reading the book outside of class because his grading mostly consists of your test and quiz averages, however he does do a quiz and test review before every assessment

Masse is the dude even though his tests may be a bit hard at times, and he is extremely personal about his life in class. I'd take him; he is a good guy and wants the best out of his students. Only downside is that some of the questions on the test are stuff that were not at all talked about, and attendance for the most part is mandatory

He will use the class time to give you his life story then gets confused about why he needs to curve every test. Youll need to read that entire psych book since you really never know what he'll put on there. The homework is a joke and easy part of your grade but be prepared for tests every few weeks. Final is cumulative

He is a nice man, but not a great professor. He relies on exams only which are essentially taken from a test bank so they are not his questions. Makes the exams more difficult because he does not teach the material well. 80% of the class is exams and the rest is a portfolio (homework that isn't very helpful) and participation.

He is a very caring professor and cares a lot about his students. You definitely have to read the book if you want to do well on tests. The tests are very straightforward. He is very accommodating with attendance as long as you give him a good reason for missing his class.

Clearly loves to teach, but unfortunately is not good at doing so. Tests are ridiculously hard; says that the test is mostly on class notes, yet almost all questions are in the textbook that we never even mentioned in class. Would not take this class again, and would advise anyone in the future to avoid this class as well.

There is no structure or organization to this class. In order to do well on the tests you have to teach all the material to yourself. During class the lecture consists of none of the material that is on the test. Would not suggest taking this class.

He is easy going and makes class fun and inspiring. He will let you turn assignments in late sometimes and is usually understanding if you miss class and give him a reason for it. As long as you read the assigned chapters, show up to class, and do your homework the class should be easy and enjoyable.

Just study and you'll get an A. He gives one homework assignment about questions that are directly addressed in the chapter. Sounds scary in email, but then just ask him for help or tell him you messed up and didn't do the homework and he'll let you turn in the work late! Also yes he says some weird stuff, but isn't sexist or racist at all.

We always get out of night class early but he likes to get off topic and rant about random things. He is really funny though and keeps your attention. You have to buy the book to pass but it is not expensive. His lectures are pretty unorganized and you have to write a 8-10 page research paper but besides that homework is very limited.

Masse is a great professor and an even better person! He is the nicest professor at Bryant and wants all of his students to succeed. He really cares about each of his students and enjoys getting to know everyone. I have taken him twice now and I would highly recommend taking him if you can! Ask him about his Corvette.

The class was challenging, but this professor explained the concepts, which made the material easier to understand. He also related real-life examples to the concepts, which also helped my understanding of the textbook material.

One of the best professors I've had! Overall, easy class. 3 tests, take home final essay, book report, articles, & weekly thought questions which are a breeze. Might seem like a lot of work, but really all easy assignments. Would definitely recommend! Very enthusiastic and promotes a laid back classroom environment.

Ok class. Kind of hard to follow. Doesn't really cover important information in class...you need to rely on the book...but attendance is important. He can be kind of inappropriate too...some very "interesting" comments.

Final grade is composed of two exams, a long paper, and a final - also some weekly "homeworks" that are sets of questions for the chapter you're doing that week. Class is pretty easy, Masse is an affable guy who you'll learn from - even though a lot of times lectures don't relate to test material. Always lets you out early in night class.
