Dr. Bob is a very nice guy. He has very strong opinions, but is open to other points of view; however, I found his teaching style extremely bland and lacking insight. You would do better to stay home and read the text than listen to him regurgitate textbook information from slides. I would not recommend him.

Comment:

Dr. Bob was probably the most compassionate professors I have ever had. I had him my first semester for Abnormal Psychology. I struggle with a mental illness and I even have a service dog for my condition. He is a huge advocate for the mentally ill. He has a huge heart. He retired the semester after I had him and I must say "Sweetpea"& I miss him!

I have taken many of Dr. Bob's classes. He has his opinions but is ready to hear yours. He wants you to think! Whether you agree with his opinion of Dr. Phil or not Dr. Bob is a fantastic teacher. And by the way I am far from one of those young 20's students. Take more than one class with him to get to know him & feel his passion for psychology.

He seems to appeal to the younger students, but to someone over the age of thirty with a little life experience, his opinions are downright scary. Anyone who thinks Dr. Phil is a role model shouldn't be teaching college anything. Stay far away from him!
