Awesome! this is the professor you want to take for Anth 101, I took him for winter even though it was a lot of material in such a short tome he made it worth the while. His exams straight forward and from the chapters. Time was sufficient for 60 questions and 10 extra to help you do well. He responds quickly and very clear about grading. He cares!

Comment:

Took this class online and it was writing intensive. It's an easy class if you do the work. He does grade the discussion posts harshly. There was 3 exam 2 papers, no final. It was writing intensive so one of the papers was 12 pages long, but it is doable. His papers are based on attending a coffee shop and a courthouse. Would take him again

Comment:

Great professor! I took the hybrid class and it was great. We had class on one day for 2 hrs but we didnt have to come. If you did go, you got 5 pts added to your grade. He gave many chances for extra credit. Overall, you have to work for your grade but he is great and when you email him, he emails back so fast!! Take him, you wont regret it!!

He is nice and understanding but the ethnographies are ridiculous. He makes us do one at a coffee shop and at another public place like a library or any place where has public events. But, once you put your time and effort into it, he will see how serious you are about his class. He only has four online exams which are tricky, but you can use notes

hybrid class we only met once a week. 3 exams that are at home and on blackboard, 3 writing assignments, and attendance is a must. He is extremely boring and doesn't really go over anything that the test will cover. hard grader on writing assignments so use as much detail as possible. He Is also very sarcastic. Study hard or you will fail

I took a hybrid class with Dr. Benedito. Attendance is only worth 5% of your final grade. Everything is put up on blackboard, including his exams. Everything must be submitted via blackboard as well. His class is easy. It'd very difficult to fail his class. Just do all of his assignments and you'll pass.

He helped me throughout the course as a teacher would and was understanding when technical problems did occur. He was a specific grader and gave clear cut outs of how he was going to grade you. He also sent out reminders on the big assignments coming up and the exams. Just 3 exams but also 2 big projects. good class over all.

I took this class over the winter and it was challenging but doable! 10 discussion post which he grades harshly, project and three exams. There was a lot of reading but not over bearing. I thought it would be a easy class but I had to put in the work. He gives extra credit on the exams and an extra post to boost grades. TAKE HIM!

i took his online class and i had to withdraw from the class due to his projects. We had to sit in a coffee shop & observe & then you had to attend a trial. How are you supposed to observe a court trial if you work 9-5pm?? His assignments were beyond confusion I hated this course. I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANOTHER CLASS WITH HIM!

Professor Benedito will explain any topic or project more than once. All his exam questions are the topic he talks about a lot. There are surprise quizes but not many. Punctuality and Participation matter! Group work has to be done by all. If you ask something you don't understand, he'll try his best to explain. Overall he's good.

This teacher means well sometime but in my opinion he does not need to be teaching, he is better suited being one of those professors who spend 95% of their time in the field.... He know the work but he has a problem relaying the message to his students in a way that is understandable

He'll make you work. No exaggeration. Especially for a 101 class. I wouldn't reccommend him, he makes you do these different projects then, he makes them due on the day of a midterm or final. He'll lecture for an hr, before an exam, and you will forget all the info you retained and thats how he fails people. Also he grades very hard. Stay far away!

This is the worst professor I've had so far. He has favorites that he calls on all the time and ignores the rest. He acts very strange and does not respect people. His exams are ok but he needs word for word definitions etc. Don't take him unless u can't help it.

This professor had to be one of the worst professors at york. He would give uncomfortable glances like you were dumb or something. His instructions were not clear and if you did not follow them he would penalize you for that. This guy had the nerve to tell the class about the midterm the week before the actually midterm.Do not take this professor.

He is just toooo confusing at times, students do not respect him at all probably because he does not show much respect for them. His tests are way too hard, and i so regret taking him but i had to.
