Comment:

BTM 380 is a hard class if you've never programmed before. For his assignments, I recommend starting them as soon as possible since they take a lot of time to complete! And, 10% of your grade is your participation (showing up to class and completing the in-class work). If you show up to class, that's a guaranteed 10%. His PowerPoints are helpful.

Comment:

Rustam isn't the most exciting or eloquent professor as he simply reads off the PowerPoint in a monotonous tone. There is a lack of practice exercises in-class and you really just have to go to tutorials or self-learn the material. Best help I got from him was seeing him after class and directly asking questions. Would not recommend him regardless.

Comment:

Programming just isn't something that can be taught or learned through PPs and I think Rustam doesn't get it. He's quite monotone and rushes through slides which means you'll have to go over everything again including what he didn't teach. Read the book, look at code examples and re-type them to understand their structure.

Comment:

Super nice guy and easy grader. his lectures can be a bit boring sometimes and he speaks quietly so it'd be beneficial to sit near the front. If you go see him he really helpful and will help you out. The only issue with him is his monotone voice during his lectures. But if you are able to follow his lectures you'll be fine for his class.

He is a chill guy. His lectures are boring at times. The material is somewhat hard but he curved the grades of the final. He grades fairly and I don't think it is possible to fail his class if you put a minimum of effort.

Got him for BTM 380 and he is not a bad teacher Classes are boring since he teaches C# with powerpoints He only did one class with a whole step-by-step example and I found that way more interesting, I wished he'd do more of those He answers questions by email pretty quickly

Great nice guy, very well knowledge on programming languages. approachable, easy grader as well. Classes can be a bit boring, he just uses PPT but when you go to his office, he IS THE MAN. Too bad BTM curriculum sucks balls or else he could of teach great IT skills to students.....

This Guy really shouldn't be teaching this class. He teaches C# using powerpoint slides, there is no tutorials or labs. He really shouldn't be teaching this class, but sadly there is no alternative.

He is not there to fail you, you can get an A or A+ but study by yourself, go to Mancini's class if possible. get Mancini's notes...the environment is relaxed..most students don't attend the lectures whether they are A or C students...

He certainly will never beat Mancini, but he tries. His explanations are clear and he's very knowledgable, but he covers the theory too much and never does problems in class. U MUST read the book!! He's still very leniant with the assignments though. He can be boring at times
