Sally is the best prof I've ever had. Extremely encouraging and supportive, she took me under her wing and really helped me develop research skills and focus. She cares about her students and will go out of her way to help them. She's great at facilitating quality class discussion and pushes students to engage with the material on a high level.

Sally is a good teacher, and as a bonus, she has actually performed the task she is teaching. She is a published ethnography author; you must buy her book, but she does not lean to heavily on her own work. She marks fairly hard, but she is clear in what expects of you. Go to her office hours. She wants you to succeed and she will help you.
