ASUO 1000 is an easy class, easy A, and you might learn something. Much of this class is a waste of time but you do learn about what ASU has to offer and where to get it. Expect to do silly busy-work in any ASUO class. It is funny to watch Mrs. Cook snap on the kids. Be the adult you are and enjoy the easy A.

I would not recommend her! She gives you a lot of homework, she makes you read out loud, not food or drinks in her class she will make you throw them away, and she talks to you like you are a little kid.

Easy tests, but it can also be tricky. Buy the book, because she makes you highlight EACH chapter, take notes, and answer 1 question at the end of the chapter. There are 12 tests, 2 cultural event essays, and a final. NO FOOD OR DRINKS!!! She makes you read out loud too. Overall she is easy, I don't know if I would recommend her though...

EASY:There are 10 chapter tests, 5 vocabulary unit tests (24 chapters altogether), and 10 readings. She assigns homework EVERY night, which probably takes an hour to do. Even though it seems a lot, her assignments has improved my reading! She makes you read aloud a lot, collects homework, NO FOOD OR DRINKS! She will go crazy! Overall, I recommend.

This is the first time I can say I will NEVER take this teacher again. She treats all of her students like children. She assigns way too much homework 2 chapters a night plus journals and exercises out of the book. I didn't start attending college and paying to go to school to be treated like a 2yr old. Don't take this teacher.

She is a really easy teacher, but she will teach like we are in kindergarten. She makes everybody read out of the book, and she assigns a lot of hw.She can be really rude, but she is sweet.

DO NOT TAKE HER FOR ASUO!!! She treats the class as if it is the only class worth taking at the school. She is not as nice as she might come off at first and can be extremely rude; especially if you don't follow her directions to the letter. The tests are ridiculously long for the content of the class, and she doesn't provide proper study guides.

While she comes off as a nice lady, she can actually be EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. The class is simple, and quite frankly a waste of your money and time if it's not a required course. She treats the class like a bunch of six year olds, despite the fact that some were older than her. Overall easy class, but not as sweet a person as she seems.

She is very sweet and really wants you to know about all the things she teaches such as time management and things like that. she gives a lotttt of homework. if your taking a bunch of classes i wouldnt recommend her. other then that, its pretty easy. the tests kinda throw you off tho but just read your book, and do all of your assignments.

She is a very nice lady and helpful but.. she gives way to much work for this class. She talks to you like you?re an elementary student. She does every page in both books and it is very boring. You do the same thing each day of the week. This is an easy A but if you don?t want homework every class do not take her.

Came out with an A. One of the easiest classes around! This is a GPA booster. Do all the assignments and the Cultural Events and you'll do fine. Tests are pretty easy and she drops your lowest test grade at the end of the semester. So you can miss a test and not worry about it.

Very kind professor, but she doesn't assign way too much work for this class. I actually truly enjoyed myself, but if you take her be warned - GO TO THE CULTURAL EVENTS! I didn't go to two of them and it brought my grade down to a C, even with A's on all tests.

she is such a nice teacher. She is always there to help in the time of difficulty. She does give quite a bit of homework but it is easy and not too bad. Her test are easy, you just should look over the chapter before taking it. I highly recommend her!!!

she is so nice, sweet, and easy. This is an easy class, but you'll learn a lot. You'll see how much your reading skill is improved by taking final exam.
