SHE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR OUT THERE. Her exams are sort of wordy, but it makes you learn clearly. She makes her classes interactive and just FUN. If she had my classes, I would definitely be the first in line to register under her name. She is wonderful, thoughtful, creative, understanding, intelligent and accommodating. I took Dr. Sandefur for 5630 & really liked her. She expects a lot, but then again all professors should expect a lot from students at the graduate level. She gave us so many useful tools that will certainly prove to be useful in my classroom. She absolutely loves her job and it shows!

I took Dr. Sandefer for Teaching Reading. I can say that I learned more in her class than I did during all of my classes at UTC combined! She is AMAZING!! I would take every class that she offers!! I looked over my notes from her class before an interview and they helped me greatly! She is the best teacher ever!!!

A lot of work for a 2 hr class. She use to teach English, so take every single assignment to writing lab. People literally got F's of ass for grammar and spelling mistakes. Also I am not so sure how much I really took away from the class. Her tests are pretty hard. By far the hardest education class I have taken.

I can see why professor Sandefur has gotten such high ratings. She always makes class interesting, she has a lot of good insights on teaching, and she is just plain nice. But when I think about the class, there really isn't much I took away from it at all. Can make an A or B with low effort, but if you're looking to learn something, look elsewhere.

Dr. Sandefur is so much fun! It is obvious she really loves what she is teaching. I learned so much in this class! You have to invest some time and money into the projects, but I know they will be materials I will use later on. Taking this class in the summer was a lot of work, but Dr. Sandefur made it worth it.
