Scott is the best professor I've had in my three years of University. The class was lame, no one talked but Scott is a gem. He really wants his students to succeed and will do anything in his power to make sure all of his students understand the course content. Thank you Professor!

Scott is my absolute favourite UoG Prof. He is kind, funny, and understanding. Show up to class! He gives clear details on what is on the midterms. No reading, I never buy the textbooks for his classes. Only time I'd use the book is if I needed clarification, but he is always willing to explain things.

Comment:

Professor Colwell makes MCS 3030 so straightforward that if you pay attention in class it is almost impossible to fail. Go to lectures! He makes it very clear what will be on midterms and finals; he is also very open to answering questions about the assignments. He makes the class worth going to, despite some dry material.

Comment:

Colwell was the best professor I've had so far. He wants all his students to succeed and makes his math lectures easy to understand and is very patient and understanding. Would take him for every math if I could.

He is an amazing professor, the content can be pretty dry but he makes it interesting. He always uses relatable examples and always makes it very clear what will be expected on tests. All you have to do to do well is attend class. Would definitely take a class with him again.

Amazing prof! He is not a psychology major however filled this class for this semester. Made it clear that the textbook was useless and told us exactly what to study for the final so there was never a surprise. The only downside was my TA, she failed us on alot of assignments that other students passed with other TA's. Overall, Easy to get an A:)

This course was a big waste of time. Marketing altogether is BS. The midterms & the final exam were ok. All multiple choice. The seminars were a pain in the butt. There was so much work involved in this course. The material is straightforward but sometimes Colwell asks annoying/tricky questions on exams.

Pretty good prof that makes the class interesting. Funny guy and helpful if you need to ask him questions. Regarding the previous comment, we only had 2 guests and Frisbee was completely relevant to our program. Recommend taking a course with Scott Colwell.

I don't like him. He is easy, yes, but not THAT easy. And he's obsessed with bringing guest speakers in, i.e. his best friend Frisbee (which he will test u on) and having the TA do these case studies, just so he doesn't have to teach. Why should we be tested on the guest speaker material if its not relevant to the subject of the class?
