worst teacher ever, he doesn't explain his work just gives you questions, so serious. doesn't laugh. he also doesn't care to help anybody. so much mymathlab useless assignments.

Professor Krise is decent I suppose. There are parts of his lectures that often do not make a a lot of sense and parts of the tests are often different than his actual lectures. I wouldn't really recommend him unless he is your only option.

Comment:

Pr. Krise really cares about making sure his students understand his lectures, but he is a little confusing at times. Only 5 tests (one was a take home) and you can miss up to 5 classes without a problem. He's pretty nice, but a little sarcastic at times. A good class to take if you're fairly good at math and just want an easy A.

He is that type of professor that makes jokes but no one really laughs. The only grades you get are for test and no matter how much you listen to him speak for the hour and fifteen minutes you have with him things still don't really make sense and the test aren't that similar to the lectures that he gives nor does it seem to tie with the lessons.

Please do not take this professor. You will just be wasting your time over nothing and will learn nothing. This class is pointlessly hard for no reason and you will get nothing out of it. Please avoid this professor and choose someone else.

As long as you attend to the classes and you do your homework, you will pass. I dont understand those bad reviews of this teacher, I get it, he assign a lot of things but he is a great professor; makes you read, think and open your mind with real life application problems. I got an A easily when I took his Algebra class.

No extra credit, few homeworks. Class are better than I expected and youve to attend all of them cause he doesnt post anything online ( not your grades and not exams dates). MGF1107 with him is an okay class if you need the credit, he doesnt make it harder than necessary.

The main thing that bothers me about his class is that he doesnt teach you. You go home with no knowledge on what he wants us to learn needing us to read it out of an online textbook (which isnt that bad). He works us out of his workbook in groups and expects us to know it already. If we get it wrong he does not take the time to explain it.

Class is group work from a workbook (created himself) while the tests are based on HW that is not taught in class. will not learn fundament algebra at all and will have to retake this class. He will embarrass you for not knowing something. Signed up thinking reviews where overdramatic since I'm good at math. I was wrong,DO NOT TAKE. Drop/withdraw

Stay as far away as you can if Im being really honest. He gave out a diagnostic test before he even told the class his name on the first day. Hes got an overall negative energy and is very condescending, even to good students who make small errors. It was very odd to see someone with a very basic teaching style talk down to hard-working students.

This class isn't difficult at all honestly. His final is literally parts of the only 3 tests we have. The rest of the assignments are super easy group assignments. Sort of boring. But he holds your hand a lot trying to help you at first. I hate algebra but professor Krise actually teaches, at least in my class. He's a safe bet if you aren't lazy.

Worst teacher I have ever had in my whole life. The whole class dropped besides six other students and myself. The textbook is his own personal life's work and you can't question any of the answers. If you want your college algebra credit don't waste your well earned money on this horrible class.

He is the worst! Very condensing, rude, and tries to make students feel stupid if they get the question wrong. Don't expect him to elaborate if you need help. Complains about other students. If you need more "help" than others I would not recommend you taking this course. This being said, homework is online and tests are cut and dry.

His grading scale makes no sense. He goes at a very fast pace even though it is a 16 week course. He gave a diagnostics test on the very first day and it counted for a grade. He gets frustrated if u do not know how to do it the first or second time he explains it. He is not fit to teach. Worse professor I have experienced.

He's actually a bit of a jerk. The environment he created made it so asking questions was terrible and those who actually did ask questions were met with a sigh and an eye roll. None of what he taught made a lot of sense and his "standard 4-point scale" made absolutely no sense when it came down to me trying to figure out my grade on my own.

Idk why people dont like him, hes pretty easy I think, the only thing I dont like is we dont do exercises in class so its kinda boring , attendance doesnt matter but you will miss the lecture, we dont have tests too often and the homework is due at the end of the semester so you have awhile to complete it.

Worst professor I have ever taken in my life. Extremely arrogant. He actually talks down to students and doesn't lecture! He expects you to know the material w/out him going over it! He laughs if you ask questions on the material, I do not understand how he has a job teaching. Do not take him!

Very frustrating teacher. I took both an elective and the pre req (got A's in both classes) before his College Algebra class. Every class was working in the textbook that he wrote and only working on word problems. We had to learn all the material all online and he would only touch on it if asked. After me, only 5 remained after starting with 18

I've only lasted in his class for 2 days. He has a very odd teaching style and clearly he wasn't compatible for me to learn from him. In addition to that, you will have to purchase a book he wrote that he only lectures from in class. You pretty much have to teach yourself the material online to understand what he's talking about in class.
