Reading the free textbook provided made the class easier. He does explain and has lectures but its kind of unorganized. Good notes will help you in the class and on graded assignments

This class was the most fluke college course Ive ever taken in my entire life. His system is put in place as to where you are set up to fail. The test are tricky, he is self centered, and hes a horrible instructor. Please do not take this course with him.

Do not take this professor if you can avoid to do so. Hes very rude, not organized, and he doesnt want to help you. He catches an attitude when you need help, and he doesnt necessarily seem to care about students. I dont advise anyone to take a course with him.

Very rude professor. He gets upset when you dont understand something and ask him questions, then gets upset when you dont ask. Not sure what hes looking for in a student. Very hard to understand and has bad time management. Rambles on and over complicates things. Isnt clear. Do not recommend. Stay away if you actually want to learn economics.

His tests are nothing like his lectures. We havent even learned what he puts on the test. You can zone out during his lectures as long as you read everything assigned. Just smile and show that you care. DO THE EXTRA POINT ASSIGNMENT!! Ask about it as soon as possible!!! He lets you retake test if you dont do well.

I would not take him again. His lectures do not match his tests. He also often made me feel bad for not understanding the material even when I asked for help. He can be pretty impatient when no one is listening or when people are using their phones but it is just hard to keep with him throughout lectures due to his soft voice and he bounces around.

He is a wonderful teacher and obviously goes that extra mile for his students. I took Econ201 once a week; I loved the class. He is very helpful and will always give examples, answers and reasons. He will repeat something throughout lectures if he feels students don't understand; which is VERY helpful in absorbing the material & knowledge.

Hes a very great professor i dont understand why people are so harsh. If you respect him and put the time and effort outside of class(which you should do either way) you will get an A in his class with ease. Hes always available outside of class to help and he appreciates participation.

Makes material understandable... when room is dead silent bc he has a very soft spoken which makes the lectures hard to follow at times. Offers retakes for a few quizzes and is available after class. Don't miss class or else you'll be behind as each lecture serves as a foundation for the next class. TAKE NOTES as he randomlywill ask what u learned.

he's very knowledgable about Economics, but as a professor, I'd give him a F. Bad attitude, rude, will put you on the spot if you don't have the right answer and doesn't have patience. You will often hear him say "why do I have to keep repeating myself *inserts angry face*" . He expects for you to know alot from reading on your own.

His tests are extremely hard even though he add ten points to your second and third exam, but it does not help at all. His teaching does not match his exam. What he says, please ignore it! Trust me, don't take his course if you want to pass Econ 202.

I beg you not to risk your GPA with this class. Entire class was lectures which you could barely take notes on because he mumbled and jumped from various subjects. He post powerpoints and gives an ungraded quiz before the test which didn't help at all on the test. Take this as a VERY LAST option, get ready to be stressed out with this class.

I would never recommend him to anyone who wanna pass or earn credit from this class. It was really hard to understand what he was talking about. Made rough exams. Lectures had nothing related to exams. Gave you chance to retake. Harder re-take exams and they won't boot your grade at all( the final grade you get was the average of two exams).

ookayyy so i took econ201 with him and somehow got a B. He gets all of his test questions from google, probably different sites because I have found them on various quizlets. His lectures dont make sense and he talks in a low voice making it difficult to stay focused. He makes econ more difficult and confusing than it actually is.

Wirst professor I've had by far. Rambles om and on about meaningless stories. Hoves to have students come up with an answer they would never be able to. If you want to get the credit, ttust me on this, avoid HIM!!!

Professor Mehrabi knows his economics, but his lectures are pretty boring. He gives quizzes before the day of the test and gives you the answers. If you study the quiz, you should do well on the test. Get ready to read. I would not take him again.

Here's what I've discovered.. Mehrabi DOES have very tough exams, but he sometimes curves. He is very understanding if you are respectful. I can't stress it enough.. keep your phone AWAY, focus and talk talk talk in class even when it's boring, and go to his office during office hours!! He respects the students who respect his class, and him.
