Totally unprepared for class. Never in her office during office hours,ever. Always seems like she has more important things to do than teach. Horrible teacher.

I've taken three classes with Shelley, and while she does tend to recycle jokes/anecdotes, her lecture style is engaging and her assignments are built to strengthen your understanding of the texts. She is lenient about due dates, and open to discussion, very available for students. One of my favorite profs to date.

I found her teaching style sparradic and irritating. She gives minimal examples and her assignments are very redundent. in all honesty her class would not be one I would recomend. I also took English 101 from her and she does not prepare you for english 102 through her teaching style. Her Engl 101 was an easy A. ENGL 102 was a fight to the finish.

I took her class online this summer and loved it. She was helpful, she gives great constructive advice, and even though she assigns alot of work you will enjoy her class.

she's the worst instructor in CSI, poor explanation and she was so picky. If you want an A in Eng 101, don't take her class.

really clear and works hard to help all of her students do well. Always available for help and easy to talk to on a 1 on 1 level. Had no prob going to her with ANYTHING. her stories helped keep class light and interesting. take her!
