Didnt put grades in until the last day of the semester. NO FEEDBACK ON ANYTHING. I dont even know why I ended up with the grade I got. How am I supposed to learn? Spends class time talking about random things and teaches the same lesson MULTIPLE TIMES. She makes the students wipe down their desks everyday and complains about germs. Nightmare.

Publicly embarrasses specific students. Multiple students have caught her taking pictures of them without their consent or knowledge. I wish someone would report this woman, she is ruining the communications culture at Monmouth. I spent my money to waste this class with a professor that is seen as a predator on campus. Avoid at all costs.

She was awesome. I had her for organizational comm and she gave us 3 papers and 1 final exam which was extremely easy if you look over the study guide. The 3 papers are writing intensive but it is all about you, so it is not horrible to write. She loves when everyone participates in group discussions with the class. All about you, so its very easy!

I do not think she was the best teacher ever but most defiantly was not assessable at all. I emailed her all the time are very really did I ever get a response back. She always made us do drafts and NEVER handed them back in time. You will not know what you grade is the entire semester so beware. The final may scare you but it is very easy.

Dr. Wien is unorganized, doesn't have a clear teaching style, and is hard to reach through email. She assigned us 3 papers in the semester, & now the semester is over and she has only graded 1 of them. She also doesn't really teach, instead we just had class discussions every day which was no help for when it came to the final. Do not take her.

Used her class time to talk about her personal life, never handed back drafts on time, never once spoke about the textbook or material the class was supposed to cover, does not submit grades online, and left the class completely unprepared for the final.

Very tough grader. Also very strict with attendance. My friends mom passed away and she gave me an i excused absence when I went to the service. If you follow the directions on the assignment, she will give you a decent grade, but you have to go above and beyond. Id probably never take her class again.

There's something unexplainable about her that irked me from day 1. She DEMANDS to be called doctor. Attendance is mandatory for her class or you will not get a good grade,she takes NO excuses. She has ZERO respect for students and is not afraid to put you on the spot and embarrass you in front of everyone. She's so over the top. STAY FAR AWAY

She has a clear grading system that you receive in advance. Participation is a big part of the class, not that much homework, besides from preparing speech. Overall she's very nice and helpful.

She's a little self righteous and she loves to throw the fact that she has a Phd out there. Also demands to be called Dr. Wien and gets offended at being called Professor. The class itself wasn't bad and if you like presenting you'll do well. Not sure that her presentation methods are completely up to date or applicable to the real world though.

Took her for Senior Seminar, even though it's an easy class as is, she's really helpful and she makes it fun relating it all to the real world. Def. take her if you are looking for a fun class to finish off your senior year.

Dr. Wien is a professor who expects everybody to be good public speakers from day 1. If you are not a good public speaker, you will definitely struggle in this class. If you are a good public speaker and willing to do a lot of busy work, you should do decently fine (B and higher). We didnt receive a grade until the final day of class so be warned..

You must call her Dr. Wien because as she says "i didnt go to school for 7 years to be called a prof". makes you sign a contract in the begining of the year. She expects you to follow it but she never does. You will recieve all your grades on the day of the final and if you e-mail her about it, she does not respond. Easy tests with study guide.

Only call her by Dr. Wien because as she says"I didnt go to school for 7 years to be called a prof".Dont expect to get any grades back until the day of the final. She never responds to e-mails either so dont bother sending them. Easy tests but she does not teach any of it in class. Gives a study guide and you need to read in the book to get answers

She is a horrible teacher that should not be in front of students teaching. Pointless discussions and mindless classes that do not help with actual projects.
