She is a real gem. She really has an enthusiastic personality that you will fall in love with. She runs right into class as she comes in. If you are a minute late even on the first day she will most likely be teaching right away. I loved every bit of it.

Madame is an amazing instructor. She has a real passion for teaching French to students and it inspires me to continue. She also is great at orienting the learning for those who need extra help. The one downside is if you are ahead, class can go slow because she tries to make it fair for everyone including those that are doing the bare minimum.

Madame is by far the best professor that I've ever had. I love her so much that I've taken all four semesters of french with her. I never thought I'd end up being able to speak French, but I've actually decided to minor in it because of her.

Absolutely the best professor I've ever had. She's helpful, cares about her subject, and makes it fun. Participation is required and all work must be done to get a good grade. I loved her so much that I took all 4 semesters with her. If you're taking French, take it with Madame!

I have taken 3 semesters of French now, and Madame is the only French teacher that I have had that is happy. She is fun, energetic & very helpful. I would strongly recommend her as a teacher, and it is much more fun that at the University.

Madame is extremely fun and energetic and while her occasional lapse into French can be a little confusing, overall I wouldn't choose another French teacher even if there was one. She isn't that difficult of an instructor if you participate and will take extra time in class to make sure her students understand the content. Truly a great professor.

Absolutely one of the best professors I've ever had. You will learn French if you come to Mm. Skoglund's class. Do the homework & study for tests/quizzes, you'll do well. She truly cares about her students, which made me try harder and not give up. Some professors don't get it, but Skoglund does. You have to do the work, but she's there to help.

I can't believe the negative reviews. Madame Skoglund is one of the kindest, nicest souls I've ever known. She genuinely loves french and teaching and she's always willing to help ANYONE out. Definitely one of the best teachers I've ever had. She's amazing. Don't hesitate to take a class with her. You won't regret it. Unless you hate kind people.

Needs to grow up. She said things in class that are border line inappropriate. Homework is easy. Class requires a little bit of brown nosing for the participation points (attendance is very mandatory). 2 pointless hings I remember Lets sing the alphabet. Describe (teacher) with certain limited adjectives -> pretty/old, young/beautiful = awkward

She is a little crazy, but she will definitely keep your attention for 2 hours straight. She has really unique ways of teaching things to keep it interesting. I really enjoyed the class. Show up to class and do some homework, and you will be good to go. (Note: WAY easier than the U). Got an A.

Shes great. Very spunky. You are expected to learn a lot on your own. But its not difficult. The book explains everything after she briefy does. Class is fun and she loves to teach. But if you're lazy or stuggle with Lang. and dont get outside help, no one will baby you through.
