Comment:

I took Professor Winston's "College Algebra" course right after graduating high school. Since I took this course right after high school, everything we did in this class was similar to what I did in my senior math class which made this class a breeze. The things I didn't like was the online homework every night and her teaching style is very boring

I took professor Winston's online math 120 in the Winter 4 week course. It was all online except for the final. You are allowed 1 pg notes double sided, she gives you notes . She responds quickly to emails. Stay on top of the work as it is a lot to get done in 4 weeks but its possible! Work is done on My math lab. pay attention to due dates!!

The workload for this class is INSANE. Professor Winston seems like a nice person, but she rushes through the material and doesn't always explain it thoroughly.

easy but its so boring. all of the homework is on mymathlab besides a final "project" (literally just looking through the textbook for some key words). if you struggle with the homework you can redo literally any assignment until you get 100%. she gives a fair amount of extra credit assignments. you're allowed 1 sheet of notes for every test/final

Professor Winston is an awesome teacher! she's really good at teaching the material and will always answer questions if you have them. You get to bring a page of notes for tests and I would basically copy down everything on the test reviews and I got mostly As! Ended with an A in math for the first time ever

Winston is great! She allows a note sheet for tests and gives you a sheet with all the formulas. Gives extra credit for each quiz and the final. All homework is on MyMathLab and she gives you homework after each class meeting but the extra questions helped me understand the main concepts more.

Professor Winston is the BEST math teacher ever!!!! I haven't taken math in 3 years and was really not looking forward to it. I got an A for the first time in math ever because she is clear, ALLOWS STUDY GUIDES, and even tho there's homework every lesson it's a 15 question online worksheet that helps you learn using my math lab. I totally recommend

Sweetest and most understanding professor. She offers extra credit, and cares about her students and is always willing to help outside of class. She covers all material and is not a difficult professor. Yes, all hw is on mymathlab, but its easy. HW, quizzes & tests are all a huge part of your grade. Easy A if you pay attention.

I enjoyed Susan as a professor though I did not realize the work load. All homework (and theres a lot) is on mymathlab. Don't do it? And you won't pass. She's friendly and nice, but definitely ask questions if you're confused. I didn't ask questions, and she continued to blow through each subject without stopping until it was time to go.

I took her previously + wasn't bad, should have learned my lesson. She's a tough grader, offers little help + uses mymathlab a lot. Makes promises to help students, doesn't keep them. If you email her, she's no help with questions + grades lies on tests and exams. TAKE any other professor that can actually help you pass + teach you something!

If you have taken high school math recently, this class will be a breeze as long as you put in the work. Make sure you get the homework done each night and pay attention in class and its a guaranteed A. Ms. Winston is a great teacher and she will help with any of the problems on the homework.

Yeah she is easy. But she is a terrible teacher. Does not respond to emails, and use of mymathlab is all that is done. You are better off taking basic statistic if just need a general math course.

Took Stats online. Easy to communicate with through email. Very understanding and nice. Super helpful. Lots of homework so just do them when due and there won't be an issue. She paces it nicely too (no hmwrk on break/weekends) 5 tests (like reviews she gives but diff numbers) and an open notes final (exactly like review but diff numbers).

EXCELLENT teacher! She explains things as clear and simple as she can. She can't stress enough about asking questions. She truly wants you to learn. She's one of the best teachers I've had!!
