Dr. Giuma will make you work and while many people do not like the power points they are useful.Rule 1: Never, ever put anything on a slide in YOUR presentation unless you know it inside and out. Remember it is YOUR presentation. Sounds simple, but youd be suprised.

This class itself is not that hard, but people made it harder for themselves by stressing out. In the weekly power point presentations he would ask legitimate questions. If you didn?t know what you were doing, he would be a little tougher on you. The most important rule for this class is DO NOT put anything on a slide you cannot explain.

EE senior design w/him is a constant stress. you could never understand from the first time what he wants from you for presentations, he assigns irrelevant tasks, he picks on people on purpose and he's very unprofessional. never had a theory class w/him and hope i won't ever. avoid him if you could.

Dr. Giuma is by far the best professor in the engineering program. If you want to learn and secure yourself a good future, Dr. Giuma is the EE professor to take. Expect to work but he will be there for you to guide you as he challenges you.

He is the best professor I ever had. You have to come prepared to his class. You will work hard but you learn! Anyone that disagrees is just full of themselves.....he cares for his students, but you can't B.S. him, he can read right through you. Dr Giuma is REAL WORLD Material.
