Professor Howard is great!!! He is always more than willing to help his students in the classroom. He is very knowledgeable in the way he teaches about writing technologies. He does not grade very harshly and is willing to let you redo assignments (time willing) if youre not happy with your grade. Very respectful of all of his students.

Howard says that he doesn't like to lecture because his classes are "studios," but all he does is talk, which is boring, and even he'll say that. He gives a ton of work . If you're efficient with Adobe, you should take him. If not, his class will be cumbersome. He doesn't do a good job informing of grades, nor does he use Canvas well.

I don't know why he doesn't have a higher rating. Dr. Howard was by far my favorite teacher this past semester. He genuinely cares about your life. He is realistic and knows and takes into account how hard you work in the class. He loves participation and just to have a good time while still being productive. I would take him again in a heartbeat.

I have had him twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both times. He truly cares about his students and making sure that they understand the material. Very approachable and extremely helpful. A must take!

It depends on what mood he is in. He wants you to think he is hard, but ultimately he wants you to succeed. So, if you put in the effort and are marginally bright, you'll get a good grade. When he is in a good mood, he can be extremely helpful one-on-one.

Yeah, he's a great teacher...if you're a guy. He is completely **** and many other girls have gathered this as well. He treats females like they are stupid and incapable. I have never been treated so cruelly by a professor and hope I never lay eyes on this man again.
