Prof. T is great. I see lots of mixed reviews on her, My opinion, she's great. She grades tough & writes a lot of feedback on papers. Just be ready to improve, as the goal is to see less and less of that feedback on your papers. She allows students to be creative. So it's simple, use each opportunity to be creative. The more the better. Take her!

Shew! Prof. Woodard is good. A strict grader though. But she is clear about what she wants. If you pay attention in her class and participate once in a while, you should pass no problem. Just be creative and put genuine effort into your work and you should end up with a passing grade. Like most everyone else says, I agree, she is strict/tough.

Picked up early on, that she enjoys reading things that are different. So, if you plan on taking her, plan to write things that are a little outside the box. She really likes reading stuff like that. Her comments on my papers spoke to her enjoyment in reading them. Get creative and progress in depth with each of your papers and you will do great.

Prof. Woodard is great! Really entertaining & funny in class. But, she is serious & critical of papers written outside of class. Be ready for feedback. She is a tough grader, but her critique & suggestions helped me become a better writer. Is she the best prof. in the world? No! Is her class doable? Absolutely! I escaped with a B and you can too.

Anyone who says Prof. Woodard isn't clear about what she wants isn't listening. She is passionate to say the least. There is a moderate amount of work & txt book use in this class. So be ready to read, write, & participate in class discussions. Her class isn't a cake walk and she is a tough grader. But overall, her class is not bad. I Passed B+

She's Tough! She gives a lot of tough love when she grades papers. But, if you can take what she dishes out and really improve, your grade will sky-rocket. Pay close attention in her class, listen carefully, and you will be successful. Yes, we read, yes we write, and we communicate thoughts aloud in class. It can be fun. It is what you make it.

Strict, tough, and passionate are three great words to describe prof. Woodard. If you LISTEN to what she says and get CREATIVE in her class, you will succeed. Don't be afraid to write outside the box and on the edge. She really enjoys reading stuff that is different. Take her, and I promise you will morph into a better writer. Take her!

Prof. Woodard is passionate to say the least. She certainly has a desire to see students succeed. The key to succeeding in her class is following directions, which she is crystal clear about. In addition to following directions, it is also important to be creative or even edgy with papers you write. I did well in her class. She's great! Take her!

Prof. Woodard is strict. Take her class only if you wish to become a well organized and disciplined writer. She is crystal clear concerning everything. Listen to her, follow her rules, and you will do just fine. The key is making sure that your papers have class, show creativity, and stand out. If you receive an A or B in her class, it is earned.

Trust me when I say she is a tough prof. The best piece of advice I can give if you plan to take her is, think what everyone else might write, then write something different. No prof. wants to read the same humdrum papers over and over. Make your papers stand out from the rest. That will help you tremendously. Give her a reason to be proud of you.

I love prof. Woodard. But if you want to take her class, you need to know a few things first. Right off the bat, she does not like apostrophies in your papers. Your rough drafts can look like a car accident. But your final drafts MUST be fluid, neat, and clean in every way. And the subject matter of your papers must be outside the box creative.

Yes, Prof. Woodard is tough. But she is crystal clear when it comes to everything. Take risks with your writing in her class. When given the opportunity, write about things you normally would not. She enjoys reading things that are different. Put your heart in all of your papers. If you get an A in her class, you definitely earned it. Take her!

She is a tough grader, who doesn't compromise with students at All. It's her way or the highway. When you need help, its very difficult to get in touch with her. Learned very little in her class. All we did were essays on short stories in which we did the exact same thing in english 1.

For a Freshman class, it felt as though we were expected to do things that many of us did not even know. I would expect this level of expectation to be expected from a more advanced class. Sometimes she goes off in tangents, and sometimes you can ask a legitimate question and get disdain back in your face. Grading is tough but that is normal.

Ms. Woodard is an excellent Prof. she is extremely tough though so watch out. You will definitely learn from her after taking her class. This class prepared me for my ENC 1102 class which seems like a breeze compared to Ms. Woodards. Very funny and entertaining class, if you want to get better at writing, take her!

She is a good teacher but, she is a really HARD grader. As long a you do all of your work in class and all of your essays you will pass the class with a passing grade. The final exam at the end of the semester is a group project and you prsent it in front of the class, so be comfortable working in groups and presenting.

Ms Woodard is a hard grader! She is a very serious teacher, and if you show her that you're serious about your work, she will work with you. She won't baby you. You get the grade you earn. Count on this teacher to put you in you in your place.
