He is unbelievably hard. Fair warning. The workload for his class if you want a passing grade is more than all of your other classes combined. Just a passing grade.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! Makes this class not enjoyable and way harder then it should. He doesn't explain how to do the equations at all. We had to read a almost a chapter each week with a quiz on it. He grades way too hard on the project and counts off for the most insignificant little details. makes you feel dumb in office hours.

Absolutely impossible to please. Seems as though he finds joy in flunking students. Ridiculous demands on tests and projects. Does not curve. Over half of my class dropped before the end of the semester. Stay FAR away from Tom Jones.

I'm a smart guy, and was still unable to obtain an A in Goods thanks to Tom Jones' impossible tests and outrageous demands for the project. With Tom Jones, this class is not about what you learn, but how well you can detect his tricks. Seems to get a kick out of seeing students struggle, and ultimately fail. Mean.

Very Picky. He's difficult and doesn't curve, but you are better off for the final. If your interested in majoring for TLOG, take him! He takes attendance via quizzes and take-home assignments. He's helpful, but you have to admit you're wrong and/or "plead" for help.

Tom Jones makes this class very hard. By far the hardest grader on projects and quizzes i've had. Its not a bad thing, but you cannot mess up once. The tests are so-so, but there are quizzes once a week and they will either make or break your final grade. He fully understands what he is teaching, and he is a great guy outside the classroom.

DO NOT MISS CLASS. Quizzes are easy, he lets you use your notes. Write all the definitons in your notes. That's 1 Easy test grade. Study for a week for the tests. Follow his instructions and the project will be time consuming, but easy. Tests are pretty hard, but not impossible. He's a really funny guy. I'd take him again.

Tom Jones is probably one of the better teachers for this class, but he is still very hard. He is nice and easy to work with. The quizzes can help your grade a lot, but they can also hurt it, so be sure not to miss them. Tests are very tricky, but not impossible if you study hard.

He is very no-nonsense in class; he grades quizzes and projects VERY hard. Tests are hard too, but you can pass if you study the material and take notes in class. Be sure to come to class because if you miss the quizzes they WILL hurt your grade. He is very nice outside of class and very easy to work with if you need to reschedule a test though.

This is definitely not a blow off class and although attendance isn't mandatory show up anyways for the quizzes. Study the study guides he gives for tests and you'll be fine. In my personal experience, Prof Jones was always able to meet with anyone who gave him a notice. Really knows the material. I'd reccommend him for Goods and Services.

Worst Teacher I believe I have ever had. He doesnt care if you fail, he doesnt care if you need help, in fact I believe he gets enjoyment out of watching you fail. Never had such a bad teacher in my life and I love business.

At the beginning of the year i hated him, but towards the end he kinda grew on my because I actually learned things in his class. He grades very hard on the projects and quizes. But if you do good on the quizes it can really help your grade. His tests are pretty hard but if you go to class and take notes and study for 2 days before they come easy.

Jones cares about his students but is very picky about margins. Overall the test are rough, but if you study several days in advance you will be fine. The projects are horrifying! I currently have a B and I have missed class (no grudge) and I actually studied the material. Quizzes can make a huge difference in your grade! Be prepared!!

You must go to class and pay attention at all cost. This class is not a free A; but an A can be obtained. He grades incredibly harsh on projects and quizes, but so does Bill Thompson. This guy is a good professor who will work with you untill your absolutely crystal clear on what he is saying, and he is always prepared to the fullest for class.

This was the worst teacher i have ever had. The grade I received didn't reflect what i actually learned. His projects are impossible to do, he takes off more on the margins of your paper than the actual content. I hate his teaching and wouldn't reccommend anyone to his class.

Kiss your A$$ good bye. this guy is so hung up on the little details he loses the whole idea of the class which is to learn. Show up to class, he holds a grudge if he notices you missing.Get on his good side or he will **** your project grades which are huge. Avoid if possible!

He wasn't the best teacher one could've had. Overall, G&S itself sucks; his notes were helpful. Lets you use notes for quizzes so make sure u take notes. he doesn't gives u back ur grades until too late, hated this class.
