Comment:

Very good. Does lots of examples in class and provides a 3 hour optional tutorial weekly to get even more practice. He also gives you a list of recommended problems.

Comment:

Good lectures with decent practice material available. Funny but often difficult to approach. Lenient grading with a good grading system. Final exam is difficult but nothing unexpected. The midterm, online quizzes, homework, are mostly simple.

Comment:

Good professor who has adopted a very low stress grading system (you will pass easily, but you still need to know the content to do well). No midterm but a difficult final exam. Funny and has quality lectures, always willing to answer questions. Never posts lectures notes online. Labs for this class are rough. Hard to approach sometimes.

I took his circuit 2 class during winter term of 2012. He seems to be nice but actually not in his mind. He skipped many important lectures and ended up letting us to read the given material.

Comment:

The worst prof ever to teach you circuits. Has very little respect for students. Gives you appointments but just doesnt show up. Doesnt like answering questions. Very boastful and arrogant. Makes mistakes in class and causes lots of confusions. Similarly, he is a very unfair and unreasonable marker who gives wired and difficult exams.

Really funny, guaranteed laughs every lecture. His teaching is alright. Depends on how you learn. Labs were pretty bad both in terms of organization and content. He posts slides online, textbook is not required but helpful. Midterm will be difficult with a 60 avg. Final is not too bad. Same format as old finals. He's pretty good for ECED2000.

He acts as if he is friendly but he is not. He does not provide examples and when you complain about it he post solved examples online with wrong solution. During class you learn mostly theory and it is up for you to solve examples. He start using online quizzes so that he mark less.

Labs are frustrating, and count for very little. Project was unrelated to course material. Tim can be funny sometimes, but is not good at introducing new concepts; he jumps right into the math before explaining how or why something happens. He bell-curved final grades. No weekly assignments, but you'll need to keep up to date if you want to do well

Dr. Little is a great professor, very enthusiastic in his lectures. However, he seems to want no personal relationship with any student, and seems unhappy to be answering questions after class at times.

Comment:

Hard material was very well taught. There were lots of examples and detailed explanations to help with the understanding of the information. The exams are very difficult. He, like lots of profs with photographic memories, tests on your ability to memorize specific information which is how he sees it, and that is unfortunate for some people.

He is a wonderful Prof! Material is quite challenging but he does a great job of explaining and his lectures are interesting and easy to follow. His midterms/exams are some of the hardest I've ever written but if you go to class and study his examples, you should be well prepared! He is funny, but it doesn't take away from the learning experience!

Makes classes interesting. HOWEVER, does not have any interest in the students. Emails will go unanswered. Goes away on VACATION with two weeks of class left and cancels those classes rather than find someone else to teach.Sounded surprised when we asked him for a review for the exam since he didn't feel like teaching us anything after his vacation

He's very helpful. I had him for both math II and electric circuits. I got an A- in circuits and a B I think in math. As long as you go to class he's very easy to understand.

EXCELLENT!! Timmy is one of the best out there! had him for math and circuits, and he was great. very methodical, slow and easy to understand. and i love his "tool-box" references. his material is hard, but he does a great job with it. i've stopped him in the hallway for a question before, and he was helpfull.. and he says hey if he recognizes you!

little's teaching is perfect, no doubt about that,,,but he is not willing to help at all, and makes the students feeling depressed and F***ed up..the material is easy,,but he makes it really hard...assignments are not bad if you go to class

A good teacher when it comes to maintaining your interest, however his lectures do not really help with the assignments. The midterm was not really too hard but his exam was brutal. Class avg was c+ which is not great and I think exam was the problem. Cannot avoid him when doing electrical so guess you have to live with it.
