Professor Hendricks is a great professor, and you can really tell that if you are having difficulties, he wants to help you. Explains everything very well but if you dont go to class you will not pass. The course moves fast and you learn something new alomost every class. But this is college you arent suppose to skip. Not hard to pass if you care

Comment:

I've failed calc before and withdrawn a second time. Mr. Hendricks was probably the most lenient & personable professor I've ever had, dropping your lowest 2 quiz grades and replacing your lowest test with whatever you make on your final. He also goes through great pains to make sure to cover any previous knowledge, like polynomials and precalc.

Probably the best math professor I've had - took him for Precalculustrigonometry, and later for Calculus II. EXTREMELY clear, gives excellent notes and does tons of example problems. Very very knowledgable mathematician. Usually homework isnt necessary (sometimes it's for extra credit!). If you have to take one math class, take it with Hendricks.

Comment:

Professor Hendricks is one of the best proffesors I have had in my 2 years of school. He takes awesome, clear, notes, and saves them for you on icollege just in case you missed something. His quiz and tests are based on what he's taught and he prepares you well. Best Calculus professor out there!

He is great at explaining the concepts and showing some applications. He explains a little of the history every now and then. If you want to be prepared for the way that a 4 year university teaches but you don't want the course to be unnecessarily difficult, he's probably the best you'll find. If you study the book, do the homework...reasonable A.

Mr. Hendricks is one of the best math professors you will find. His teaching is very clear and understandable, even for the most mathematically challenged. He is very approachable if you need help and will work to help you understand it. I hated math prior to his class...but not now!

Awesome teacher! Explains everything thorough. Sometimes annoying b/c he is full of useless knowledge, but very helpful. One really hard test, the rest are pretty easy. Must study for final exam, the final exam grade replaces lowest test grade or is dropped (which is awesome). I definately recommend taking Mr. Hendricks.

teacher grades very hard, his summer class is super hard and he doesn't let you make up test even an emergency do not take this teacher. I'm no slacker and he was very hard and i think kind of prejudious

He does not seem to like helping students outside of class. Does not go over homework problems and never takes them up. The tests are harder than the examples in class but are not terrible. Do not miss a test- he will not let you make it up... no matter what the circumstance is.
