incredibly good lectures, if you take good notes on the lectures you don't even need to read the textbook to do very well on the tests. Always available to talk outside of class and makes very fair tests.

i really enjoyed his intro psyc class, which was easy, so i took cognitive and got a slap in the face. it was interesting, but much much harder. my roomate was thinking of majoring in psyc until that class.

Kahan is one of the best professors I've had at Bates, and one of the reasons I declared as a psych major. His class was interesting, fun, challenging, and generally AMAZING. He even makes psych stats bearable, which is no easy feat...
