Comment:
He's real, down to earth, and has been out there doing what he preaches in class. Professor Vercillo is highly accessible and pretty informal, he always tells it like it is in class and is quite funny at times too. The group project was a great exercise in global marketing. Take his class, you won't regret it.

Dr. V never took attendance, lectured for only one hour at a time, and cancelled class very regularly. The majority of the class is a shark tank project competition that is impossible to get an A on except if you win. He hands out random extra credit points during class, so it's pretty easy to get a good grade. Midterm and final were take home

He does not take attendance at all. He relates lectures to his real world experiences in the industry. I was in a once a week class and we are out after 1 hour of lecture. Required us to buy the textbook from him but you don't have to, we don't use it anyway. One individual paper, 1 group presentation, take home midterm and final. Very easy overall

The only problem with his class is that getting an A in the class is pretty much impossible no matter how hard you try.The highest you will get is a B+ and that is if you go above and beyond on everything.Pretty much everyone in the class will pass, but if you are looking for an A this is not the class for you. However, I really enjoyed this class.

This is one of the best professors I've ever taken. three exams kind of hard but the last one is take home. two assigments that included a fair amount of time. If you want to pass, you have to attend to his class since participation is VERY IMPORTANT.He is very helpful and very smart about how marketing works in real life. Amizing professor. :)

Very difficult teaching style. He plans out the average grades he wants and then makes his tests accordingly. 2 difficult assignments that were basically the same. Midterms/final based off powerpoints, lectures, and the book. He's very smart, but every class seemed like a plug for the gazillion products he calls "his" (they're all terrible).

The only professor I would honestly recommend to anyone going to CSULA. Attendance and participation are mandatory if you want to get a good grade. Grades kind of harsh and there is a decent amount of material you have to do but on positive side you don't have to use book and you will have best class experience in CSULA taking his class.

Probably the best professor @ csula. He is really passionate about his work and takes great interest in his students. You will learn a lot from this professor! Fun class by the way, helps you get out of your comfort zone. Good communication skills will get you an A for the class.

Very nice and helpful. 1st half of class is discussion and group activities. 2nd half is powerpoint lecture. You are tested only on the powerpoint & book. Fun class but it is a hard class. He grades hard on the papers and the tests are fairly hard.

This professor never fails his students, but it's very hard to get an A. Class participation is important. If you do well on the midterms and group project, you don't have to take the final, and those grades automatically becomes your final grade; however, if you fail your midterms and skip the final, you still get a C to pass.

He is not easy because a lot of homeworks and projects. You need to read the textbook to get an A because he uses the Test Bank. He doesn't create his own question. If you just read powerpoint slide, you will fail his exam. He is not a hard professor. He is a very nice guy and smart. I would Recommend him!! take him!!

Tony seems laid back and tells you not to study certain sections, but the test DOES test you, so read everything if you want a good grade. A couple assignments, exams are hard, and a dumb group project that takes forever. Don't recommend, but I got a B with really hard work.

MKTG 445 - Best "CLASS" ever, very interesting, everything relates to real world cases. The tests are extremely tricky, read the chapters carefully, the projects and extra credit help out alot! participate in class and do the work and you will pass guaranteed, try and you will get an A or B. He is willing to help, offers lots of extra credit!
