Comment:

She does not give any clear directions and instructions for the work. She does not like when people ask too many questions and gets frustrated with people asking questions. Her papers outlining the essays are not grammatically correct. If you do the essays and the book work you will get a good grade.

Honestly this class was an easy A but it was extremely boring and slow paced. Also she gave attitude for no reason and was terrible at explaining assignments. She also assigned many assignments that she never graded.

Reading these comments is super sad when Prof Saad is literally the best! People complain about the assignments but its literally 5 Essays in the span of ONE semester in an English class so like?? Of course youre gonna have to show up & write essays. She lets you be as creative as you want & doesnt put you in a box like most professors! 10/10

It is painfully obvious that some of the commentators are unable to follow simple instructions, as that is almost everything that you are asked to do in this class. Some people went to class w/o pencils and books; do not tell me that you are serious about wanting to pass bringing nothing but yourself to class. Quit complaining; she is good.

Had a 100% but she is unforgiving sometimes. I missed a deadline when I was gone and it resulted in me turning in a paper a little past what I shouldve which I took responsibility for. I wouldve with a C at most in the class. She grades very few things so one paper counts for a lot. She does not put grades in. Had to Withdraw

She has a reputation of being one of the toughest graders and being strict but will still make sure you get the grade you want as long as you put in maximum effort. This isn't a class you can skip and expect an A. She actually makes jokes that make the class a little more enjoyable.

She does not put grades in. She currently only has three grades for me currently and it's end of the semester: Presentation for a project, Attendance to Class, and an Essay Grade. She hates technology and is very hard to speak to or ask questions. Used the textbook a lot so please keep up with the pages for each class day. Never checked text book.

She isnt a bad teacher but as a person I can not stand her. If you keep quiet, do your work, listen to what she asks, and dont ask questions you will be fine. She gets very snarky and sarcastic towards students. Her class isnt hard if she likes you or not. She liked me so it wasnt an issue but if not... yikes. Very textbook heavy

I spent the semester thinking I was going to make it though the class. I should have taken the hint when over half the students dropped the class. On Canvas I had a 71% at the end of the course, but ended up failing the course. You do not know your grade unless you track it yourself. She does not know modern technology or does she like it.

Professor Saad is a phenomenal English teacher. Her class is comprised of mostly essays, and she gives excellent feedback on what she expects each essay to look like. As long as you participate in class and follow instruction there is absolutely no reason not to be able to pass her class.

The class only consisted of papers. So if you're not great at those its like oh well. ���� She was also very dry which made the class boring. She graded things that weren't shown on canvas so I thought I finished with a B but it ended up being a C. Take her at your own risk.

I never liked writing, and English is not my first language. But when I got into Ms. Saad's class, I knew from the beginning that I'd have to work hard. And I did! She expects college level writing, and people who complain about it on here are just lazy. I worked hard and got 99 for this class. She also helped me improve my grammar significantly.

I passed this class with a good grade. Im not saying its impossible, but she is very difficult to work with. I was out for surgery for a week and she tried to give me a 0 on an essay because it was 2 days late due to surgery andnd yes I spoke to her before my absence. No feedback, lots of political opinions shared, lacks compassion, and insulting

Barely has a personality. Dry English professor. Expects college level work. Not much time to write essays but the essay aren't hard. Quizzes are easy. Got an A on all essays except the research paper, which was difficult. Teaches clearly and welcome to answer questions.

She is Tough, but you WILL LEARN! I may have not received the grade I wanted too but, I learned a lot from her. She made me see writing differently and I strongly recommend if you want to become a better writer.

She is a fast but great teacher who expects COLLEGE LEVEL WORK. If you are not capable of producing college level work, then you should not be in this class.
