He just posted powerpoints and assigned grades. That's all, nothing else. Don't bother emailing him. He will not answer you. This course would have been a good classroom class, if taught by someone else. He has been at OSU forever and should not be teaching anymore. His office is about 2 miles away from where the other chem professors are! AVOID

Informative course on weapons of mass destruction. Easy grader, wants you to learn the material more than worry about your grade. Good combination of technical and policy aspects around WMDs.

Professor said the last day for submissions was on Friday. You had to write reviews and do class discussions which I wrote all of mine in word to edit them before posting. Went to post them at 5:30, only to discover that the course had been taken down! Last time I check, he gave a date but no time...now he won't respond to my emails!

Seriously, if you read this while you sign up, drop the class! Its not worth it. Wait til ch 324. The teacher and stuff he puts online is worthless! The questions you're supposed to answer have NOTHING to do with his lecture! One of my top 2 Worst teachers EVER!

Personally I didn't expect any help from a nuclear chem prof teaching an environmental chem course. Most likely everyone b*tching is getting the chemistry minor. I unfortunately did the minor but did not struggle with the questions. For most ppl stay clear of this course, take ch324 instead.

Extremely hard class. The problems do not relate to the textbook or lectures at all. Like others said, the teacher does not reply emails or give a crap about your performance. The problems are INSANELY hard as they are more like PhD problems. And some of the answers in his CAPA are wrong, so you'll never get them right. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This professor is the worst if he can be even called a professor. This guy should retire or just stick to research. Never returned a e-mail. His lecture slides were not helpful and unrelated to the test. His capa system has wrong correct answers in it and when you send him a e-mail informing him of this he never replies back. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! The questions do not relate to the text and the professor is not willing to answer questions. He suggests doing the extra problems from the book and online but only a few relate to the questions on the test. The slide presentations do not help one bit. Avoid this class by all means! Take another class if you can!

One of the hardest classes I've ever taken, and that's saying a lot. Out of 200-odd credits I've taken and gotten A's in all of them, this was the first class EVER where I got a B, and I'm clearly no slacker. The teacher was completely unhelpful and the tests were unrelated to the textbook readings. The whole grade is on based on the exam.

Online lectures hand written, out of date, disorganized, and completely worthless. Would not explain why problems were wrong. Unreal expectations on problem set and multiple mistakes that caused hours of extra time to figure out why he said the problem did not work. One of the programs required for the class is not avaible at OSU. DO NOT TAKE CLASS

The most unhelpful professor ever! Online lectures do NOT help a bit. The textbook helps very little. Most of the problems did not seem to relate to the textbook in any way. It's like you have to be a Chem major to be able to solve some of these problems. I scraped an "A", but just barely and with tons of work. Avoid this class at all costs!!!

Web based class that really sucks. I thought it would be good at first because 420/600 = 70% is an A but good luck! Turned in my paper on time, didn't get graded initially. I'm generally a pretty decent writer and got 50% on all my writing (100/200 pts). Hardass who doesn't return emails.

For chem buffs his environmental class is probably one of the easiest three credit science courses offered at this school. I completed it in the first week and a half.
