His homework were difficult and is not explained in class lectures. So basically you have to use youtube or any other sources to learn. What is the point of taking a course if you have learn everything from youtube? And his test do not reflect on class materials. If I didn't have to take the course for requirement, then I would have drop out.

Literally the worst teacher I've ever had. Was having trouble with one of the homeworks and reached out to him for help outside of class, and he couldn't even give me the time of day; almost as if he thought I had no chance in passing the class. Does not care about his students at all, and is also one of the harshest graders I've ever seen.

The class is really tough. If you write down EVERYTHING that he puts on the board, you'll do fine on the quizzes. Tests will take some extra work.

Forget 2 and one two spaces after a statement? there goes 10% of your grade, get used to ridiculous grading, TERRIBLE lectures without explanations and having points taken off if your code is "Too efficient".

He takes off for spelling and spacing in assignments, as well as not having the code that he wants even though assignments do not specify how to achieve the output. I dropped the class.

One of the worst professors in FCC's history. The homework is above and beyond every students ability and the tests are full of trick questions meant to fail each and every student. I dropped this class and you will too

I would never take another class with him. his instructions are unclear, he does not explain things, he will belittle and make fun of you. homework is extremely difficult. you will spend hours upon hours on it. never again.

In terms of the homework, it has absolutely nothing to do with what he lectures in class, he goes on and on with powerpoint that are completely unrelated. Get ready to pray for a decent grade.

This semester the course was a 7 week course, in the future it's a 10 week course. Those extra 3 weeks will go a long way. Instruction was clear and classes were conducted well, but there just was not enough time to cover all materials. Expect to do a few hours of homework and a quiz each week. Do the work and you'll be fine!

First and foremost: You have to do your homework and you have to do it to specification! There is a code style guide, and you should follow it! Beyond that classes have lots of information broken down and presented well, just be sure to ask questions on forums/email if you don't get something and prepare for your exams by studying!

Extremely picky on how HW is done. Even if working right and deviated abit away from how he wanted it done coz you don't know what else works, points off. Get ready to get a ton of points off. Somewhat of an elitist and occassionally mocks students who gets an answer wrong when reviewing or helping. Lectures are fast & unclear. Don't take him.

This course with this teacher was awful. He would not post things cuz he wanted to make sure you were interacting with him in order to find the answer. He will not accept things that are not his way and you cannot use a Mac for this course or you will fail. He treats you like you are five and is so disrespectful and unreasonable.

Get ready to read the program book because this professor does not teach well. You would be better off staying home and reading the book instead of going to class and wasting your time. He is not clear when he is lecturing. He also grades too harshly. This is supposed to be an introductory class but the assignments he gives out is too advanced.

If this professor stopped belittling his students' intelligence and started teaching what he assigned for homework, I might have rated him higher. Don't take this class if you want to learn or get a decent grade. Stay home and read your textbook; you'll learn as much as he reads off of his PowerPoints

He may not be the best teacher i have ever had but i think its more that he just doesn't have enough time to teach in conclusion , many of the complaints are valid but i almost blame the class structure rather then the professor
