great teacher, knows what he is talking about, people are just lazy if they say this class is tough, yeah you have a 4-5 question quiz before every class but its not that difficult to read, take him and you won't regret it, tells you exactly what you need to know for the tests

You should not consider taking this course with Professor Sweedo if you are not willing to work hard for your grade. If you are a good student, I urge you to take him. I was a student at LCCC a few years back, and the business law courses stuck with me, and sparked my interest to attend law school. Great professor who cares for his students!

I took this class in the spring. It’s not a class I would recommend. It was hard, there was quiz every class and if you do not plan on using exact terms on the tests you "will" fail.

Didnt like at all. Lectures go far away from whats on tests. If you dont use exact terms, plan to fail. Horrible grading scale and repititive emarks, goes through same routine of dreading students each day, quizzes every class, pick another professor for business law

Really really didnt like him. Didnt give notes and never reviewed for tests. He lectured and wasnt too clear. He gave a quiz every class and his tests were really hard. I dropped the class. I wouldnt recommend him.

Didnt like this class at all. Lectures go far away from whats on tests there is a test every class and if u do not read then you will not pass. If you dont use exact terms, plan to not pass you must study hard! Im not a good test taker so a test every class didnt help me! if your the same way this prof. isnt for you neither

Sweedo is great! You have to read the text, there is a quiz just about everyday. But he keeps the material interesting. I'm thinking about taking his class next semester even though its not needed for my major anymore. He really knows what he is talking about.

Makes class interesting, would sign up for any class he is teaching. Quiz almost every class except when tests are scheduled. Read the material, know the terminology and you will do just fine. If you are not going to apply yourself, don't bother taking his class!

Sweedo does a very good job. He breaks down all of the book's concepts so students can recognize real-world applicability in them. Reading the textbook is a necessity because he gives a short quiz about each assign chapter almost every class. Tests are fairly simple, except for the essay questions in which he requires exact terminology.

If you PAY ATTENTION during class and highlight what he reads from the book, you will do great. Read the chapters he assigns on time to do well on the mini-quizzes - pay attention to definitions and case studies, and you won't have to worry about antyhing. Engages students, talks about real life/current events, great sense of humor!
