If you are planning to be a computer programmer don't take his class! I am not sure why is he teaching computer science, he's an English teacher and not qualified as computer science teacher. the textbook is bad and the guy has no clue what he's talking about, the assignments are weird and vague, if you take this class you'll learn no computer skil

Horrible professor. Online he doesn't exist, zero instruction, just read this book then write these programs. Ask a question, response is "google it" (when he replies). Professional programers I work with can't believe the stuff he assigns at this level. Grading is very strict even though he gives NO instruction at all. AVOID HIM

His grading system was fair and even generous sometimes. I took his class online and in my opinion the course was difficult only because he would not reply to your questions in time. For the most part he was not helpful at all and I had to search for answers online, with my other classmates (who were also lost most of the times), and with friends.

I took him online, and while he was very helpful with his answers to my questions, it took him a while to get back to me. I ended up dropping because of that, also he makes it mandatory for you to comment on other online students work/answers to questions, what this has to do with C++ I don?t know. Overall; not horrible, but not great.

Most uncompassionate professor. Missed an exam because of a family emergence, and was given a score of 0 because of it. He is very nit picky about his grading. His use of on line system is below that of a PE teacher. Not sure how a cs teacher is incapable of using an on line teaching system. He made a mistake of posting an exam. What a nightmare!!!

I think that Wayman was very clear with his requirements and was very helpful. He didn't just show you the answer, but more led you to where you could find it. I ended up with a C in the class (way below my standards) but I take full responsibility for my grade. I would RECOMMEND him to any future programmer.

He doesn't overwork you as far as reading or assignments go but he's a little unclear on tests and answering student questions. His tests questions were short and vague which made it very hard to do good even if you're a good programmer. Other than that he's not too bad, the course requirements were clear and the assignments were helpful

Worst teacher ive ever had i asked hima million questions and he would send other students to try and answer them for me HE SUCKS!!! I had him 4 cisc C++ programming and it was terrible

Great Guy. Easy if you are a good programmer, others seemed to have a little difficulty. One of the nicest teachers I have had. If you are a programmer and want to learn another language, take him.

Easy class if you keep up w/ the readings and assignments. Grades out of only 100 points and doesn't curve so not a lot of change to mess up. Teachs right from the book which was easy to understand anyways. Programs were usually from book.
