Wayne is a great man! He is really passionate about what he teaches, and the material is very useful. He's really easy going and the class is an easy A as long as you do the projects and try your best (which are very easy). I would definitely recommend!

Wayne is great. He is super caring and very passionate about Art Education. He can sometimes ramble a little, but he's so excited about the topic so I don't mind at all. He cares about us as students and as people. He's super positive and always pointing out the good in everything.

I love Wayne!! Such a sweet man & really cares for his students. He used to teach elementary school art & it's so cute when he shares stories about his past students. All the projects are super easy & fun to do!! No tests or final exam, just a final project (which is impossible to fail). Very useful tips for future teachers! TAKE HIM!!

This class was so FUN and Wayne is so GREAT! Majority of the work is done in class so there is rarely any outside work other than the lesson plan and the Artist presentations. If you need to take ART204, I suggest you take it with Wayne. Loved and will miss this class!

Wayne is the absolute best!!! He is the best professor I have ever had, and makes art so much fun for someone like me who is embarrassed of their art abilities. His classroom is so welcoming, I wish he could teach all my classes! All projects and activities are fun and worth doing. Def take this class, you will not regret it!!! :)

I love Wayne! This class has been by far one of my favorite classes I've taken! And it's a great plus that Wayne is teaching it! There are no tests, no finals. A presentation, and an assignment to turn in but other wise just art projects that are done in class and that are actually fun and I hope to use in the future! Would DEFINITELY take again!

Wayne is the best teacher I've had my entire time at Illinois State. He loves to crack jokes and has the biggest love for future educators. His classes are a bit long, but once you get into the material it is a breeze. There are NO tests/final, & no textbook! Anyone taking ART 204, taking it with Wayne is a MUST!

He's your dream teacher! He is absolutely adorable and talks about his art teacher wife all the time! He's so lenient and will let you do whatever you want for the most part. A definite easy A! There is a huge project at the end that is a lot of work, but he makes that clear at the beg of the year. Take him if you can; I promise you wont regret it.

Wayne is AWESOME!! He is so caring for everyone and he has a lot of experience because he used to be an elementary art teacher. There is a big portfolio that you work on all semester but it is something that can be used in the future. If you have the chance to take his class I would strongly recommend it!!
