The professor will post all things about the whole semester at first on canvas, she is a little strict. Ask her questions in class or during the break!! cause if you ask her after class by email, she won't tell you the answer, she would say I mentioned it in class. Her lecture is interesting.

The class is straightforward. 3 quizzes, 3 exams (non-cumulative). No HW. How to get an A: show up & take good notes, study & practice before written essay quizzes (layout provided), keep up with each chapter study guides (provided) & use to study for the exams. Make sure you're able to get notes from a classmate if you're absent.

Worst professor Ever at IVC she'll take off points if you misspelled a word wrong. There is so much information that you have to memorize on her quizzes and will go back and forth when shes explaining her power points and her notes dont make Sense its soo confusing to understand. if you want an easy A, its very simple dont take her class PERIOD

I took this class to complete units.. she is a good teacher if you have 0 creativity and like to memorize. She gives you what she wants for your quiz essays and doesnt allow you to add anything that she did not talk about. No room for creativity in your writing. She will not take you talking back or questioning what shes teaching. Worst professor

This class is not an Easy A. She treats students like theyre in highschool and will make sure to embarrass you if youre phone is out by accident. With her quizzes she will tell you what to write But sometimes she doesnt mention something and will mark you off especially for grammar mistakes this class is pointless, she will make u feel dumb

I have never hated a class this much in my life. She treats you with disrespect if u ever have a question keep it to yourself cuz she is rude and will complain how she already said it before. If u plan on skipping class u cant she will drop you and the only way youll know when she writes it on the attendance sheet and wont speak to you about it.

can be very curt and has little patience in class time. you'll probably do fine if you do the assignments and quiz essays exactly how she says, go along with everything in class, and don't challenge her at all. textbook only used for extra credit

She's a really entertaining professor, and she makes the class fun. I was always engaged, and I can still apply what she taught to conversations. Her no technology rule is not a big deal, because it actually helps you pay attention and recall information easier.

Very tough grader on the discussion boards which are only 10 points, does not want you to quote anything on the discussion boards. Discussion boards consist of 3 paragraphs and the 3 questions she gives you is not enough for 3 paragraphs. Talks down on you as if you're dumb and does not have good communication towards you when you have a question.

Horrible professor, don't even think about or consider taking a class with her. She is the rudest, most vile professor I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, I am honestly shocked she's still allowed to teach.

Gives all the materials needed to succeed in her class. Take the time to actually look at her study guides and you'll get A's. Gave us exactly what she wants on the quiz essays. Interesting subject that is taught clearly and efficiently. I strongly recommend her even though there's many mixed reviews. Just take the time to study and you'll do fine.

The class itself was really, really easy. She gives you detailed outlines for all of the quizzes, there are practice tests and study guides online. The issue also isn't with the way she teaches, because the information is really clear. Mostly my problem with her is it always feels like she's talking down to you and seems to think you're an idiot.

Very picky. Her online class is easy if you do one thing. Take notes on what she says exactly in her lecture word for word. For homework just say what she said back to her, in painfully repetitive detail (or you won't get the points). Do well on homework bc tests are wack. Make a study guide for test and you'll be fine. Shes a little rude tho so...

She is a sweet and nice teacher. She is always very passionate and her lectures are interesting. Pay attention to her lecture and take notes during classes and study for it, you will get a satisfying grade. Her class might be a little bit difficult for non-native speaker. PPT doesn't contain all the notes!

I took the online class and she is so picky for no reason. Will always grade hard on discussion boards when they are only worth 10 points. THE TEST QUESTIONS DO NOT MAKE SENSE! She does not format the questions in the correct manner and makes it very confusing. Do not take this class if it is not your major because it is not worth the hassle!

3/5ths of your grade relies on essays she basically spells out for you. She goes over what she wants to hear - telling you things like 'define x, which is defined as y in your opening sentence of paragraph 3. Then explain why v lead to r. Define r.' Don't expect to have to to think your own thoughts - she provides them. Dismissive of students.

I took both her ANTH 1 & 2 class and received an A. Gabriella is a super passionate and caring professor. If you don't understand something, she'll stop the whole class just to make sure you understand it. One of my favorite professors on campus. There's no homework but just pay attention to her lectures and study for the quizzes and exams.

BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD. Her lectures are SO clear, understanding, fun and interesting! She's so funny and really wants her students to understand, she's one of those professors that loves when you ask questions! Not to mention you get no homework and don't actually need the textbook. Easy A basically memorize all the notes and you're good!

I found her annoying. It is an easily class, but she thinks that her field of study is like rocket science and will grade you hard on her free response questions. Since she times the free response and wants a lot of information, you have to write fast, so if you write badly, she'll circle whatever mistake you made and mark you down for it. dumb a'f
