Comment:

She is by far the worst professor I have had. She doesn't answer emails - had us purchase a $250 labpaq when all we needed was the cd to download the lab reports. I'm sure she could have uploaded the material to the class site. Labs, papers, basically everything is due on Sundays & she doesn't make herself available on the weekends for questions.

I took this class online. She is a great professor, made the tests, and exams easy...maybe too easy. No discussion boards. Provided many outside sources to help you better understand the reading material. If you can take this in class, do it. $200 for lab kit, plus online labs are tedious and very time consuming. Do not take online!

She is an AMAZING professor. I took her class online and she took the time to respond to emails. She posts actual video lectures. Both these things other professors have failed to do. I tried hard on all the work and got an A. I only wish I could have her again!

If you want an easy A take this class. If you are a science major and need a foundation, take someone else. Quizes and test are copied from other sources. I googled a question and a document came up with the questions and answers exactly as she had them on exam. The lab reports submitted were half done, blank or made up and still got 25/25 on most.

I found this professor great to work with. I took the online class and it was my first class back to school since more than a decade. She was helpful and her class was pretty much, do the work and you'll get the grades.

I took the web class this spring. It is very hard to not get an A. All quizzes, exams and labs are done at home online. She offers extra credit. Quizzes are best out of 3 and exams are only 1 try. If you don't get an A, you did not even attempt to do any work. She is really nice and down to earth. Highly recommend this teacher!

I took this class online. Although she appears to be disorganized, she knows her stuff, and I found her to be very personable. She always answered my emails and questions very quickly. The use of Tegrity made this class incredibly easy! She's an easy marking teacher as well. I took all exams at home, and didn't have to go to the testing centre.

The online class was nearly impossible to discern at first (and I have experience in online classes). Once I got the idea of what she wanted, this is an easy class to get an A in if you do all the work. There is a lot of work and a lot of lecture, but they're all very useful. Teacher has passion for their job and it really shows.

If you are looking for a teacher to respond to emails and questions in a timely manor, keep moving. She is UN- organized and does not have good communication with the on-line students. In addition, her tests are out of left field. Find a different teacher for the class.

I have taken a lot of classes at CSCC and have never felt like a professor set me up to fail. That is until I took this class. I did get a good grade but it was not because of her teaching. All I have to say is if you can take this class with anyone else, do it. She is not helpful with the material, and the study guides and page numbers on the calendars pertain to the old book. I do not recommend her at all.

She did not answer e-mails. Her quizes/tests were over material not covered in book/lectures. She did not aid in any discussions. A lot of material to print (buy extra ink on sale - you'll need it.) Tip: read a few chapters a head of where she asks. Do the study guides like it is the end of the world. Get help from students/teachers. Good Luck!

Took the hybrid version. Study guides were not helpful and the tests were very hard. Try to take this in class if you can. I love online classes and have a high GPA...don't take this if you don't have to .

I also took this class as a hybrid. It was one of my best classes this quarter. She responded to my e-mails quickly. If you have a question, she will answer for sure. Sometimes there was a lack of organization, but overall - good :)

Took this class online Hybrid. Tough testing and no follow through on the syllablis. Deadlines are not followed so don't be in a rush to get anything done on time. Get every point you can on quizes and lab because your goi9ng to need them.

Not very well put together. Notes do not match up with book. The tests do not seem to match up with all of the information as well, there always seems to be one surprise chapter added to the test. This class is made difficult by lack of organization on the professor's part.

Overall class content was informative but the organization was horrible and more time is spent trying to figure out what to do than actually studying. Did not communicate with students. Test Key was wrong and I had to defend my answers on most quizzes and all exams. I would not take her again!
