Comment:

If you're only taking a foreign language class because it's required, Moser is an easier choice for a teacher. Not strict, very articulate in English, gives clear lectures and answers to questions, and the only homework is online assignments. Taking another professor can be a risk as you might end up with someone more difficult and frustrating.

She's great, really nice and makes Spanish easy. Tests and online homework, you get 3 tries for most and she is willing to help you if you have trouble. Attendance isn't mandatory but it helps to go. Would absolutly take again.

Comment:

Was happily surprised with my final grade. The class is a lot of work but she makes it manageable. Exams are tough, but homework and compositions are graded fairly. Language is not a strong point for me, went into the final with a C got a B in the class. She is very sweet and understanding.

The best Spanish teacher I've ever had. Is extremely nice and understanding, easy on deadlines, and teaches very effectively. Can grade a bit harshly sometimes, though.

Dr. Moser is the sweetest woman...she truly cares about her students and their success. Class is difficult due to the curriculum, but she tries her best to make it as understandable and doable as possible. She expects a lot, doesn't always enforce deadlines. Be sure to do the audio lab exercises for every chapter. She collects them on test day.

My favorite teacher in Hofstra University! The most understanding and caring person you will ever meet! I wish I had her for all four of my semesters of spanish! She's an amazing teacher and you wont learn better with anyone else! Always very clear and breaks down each section as easy as possible. She's also very cute! :)

Sweetest woman. I took her twice- span 4 was SO hard, and she makes you work hard but since I had to take it, I'm glad it was with her. she's personable, approachable understanding, and just wants to help. tries to teach the material in a way that is as understandable as possible. cares about students' issues and will work to accommodate all needs

Such a great woman. So nice. If Spanish is hard for you I suggest her because shes very willing to help and is so clear. Spanish 4 is hard but she does all she can to help you along. Lots of opportunities to bring your grade up too.

The sweetest woman in the world, she is always willing to help. Pay attention in class, and take notes, study them, and you'll ace all her exams and quizzes. LOVE HER. If you are worried at all about spanish, take her- she breaks everything down really well and makes it understandable. She really wants you to do well and class is very relaxed, so you actually learn without feeling pressured. Reviews for all the tests/quizzes so you never feel unprepared either!
